Today sucked... that's all I'm going to allow myself to get into it.
Chalk River is expected to be down from 8 months to a year. I'm going to go crazy with boredom. I'm also worried about a layoff.

So you cannot qualify for a discounted iPhone until you've had yours with Fido for a year.
My phone was less than 3 months old.
As a result... if I wish to have another iPhone, I have to pay full price.
$655.00.
I'm going to be eating KD and Mr. Noodles for months.
In a way, I've been fortunate, this is the first time anything of serious value of mine has been stolen. Believe me... I'll be paying a lot more attention in the future.

hermdelica!!!) and I was very interested in seeing how Chester would react to a second cat in this apartment. I kinda feel bad for both of them.
All Nikita wants is to be left alone under my bed.

Last December, Warren and I were enjoying coffee one morning, when I saw what looked like a really big pigeon land on my balcony.
Turns out it wasn't a pigeon at all, but what we think is a Gyr Falcon.
My camera was in the shop, however, Warren managed to grab a few shots with his iPhone.
I'm really sick... I've been home since Wednesday and been to two doctors... both who were more than impressed with the size of my tonsils. My GP actually didn't use the tongue depressor and said, "I couldn't fit a toothpick in there if I tried". My glands are sticking out on either side of my neck. I was given Biaxin by the walk-in clinic doctor, but it is such a harsh antibiotic that I just couldn't handle it. The next 24 hours trying to get it out of my system was hell. Starting Zithromax today, which I've taken before and know I can handle.
I'm waiting for my test results today... oh yeah... I guess I should mention I'm being tested for Strep Throat and Mono. Goody.

So I had this big mess of an exchange of textbooks from the bookstore. I had to buy a package combo for two courses even though I'm only taking one course, $250 later, I might add.
So class last night was... interesting.

I was chatting with Warren after we got up and I saw what I thought was a pigeon land on my balcony.

And big.

Warren managed to get a bunch of photos (my camera is in the shop), but we watched it for a good couple of minutes before it dove from my balcony after a squirrel two streets west of me.
Very cool.

So U of T will not let me into Physics 101 until I have completed high school physics.
What a crock. Of course, I'm more annoyed at myself for taking every science and math in high school *except* physics because I was a chicken shit. Now it appears to have come back to bite me in the ass.
Time to check out Ryerson.
I think I'm cranky from work. I spent the last hour of my shift working on an emergency drug called in by the Hospital for Sick Children. It was a drug used to determine brain death. I'm used to seeing the stuff that goes on in a hospital and the departments I work in... but for some reason, that call really bothered me today as I eluted the generator, compounded the drug, set up the drug to be sent out while it incubated before I did the final quality control to ensure it passed. I walked straight to U of T's admissions office right after I delivered the drug to Sick Kids personally.
Playing poker tonight. Maybe I'll win some money and decide to become a professional gambler instead of this returning back to school crap.

Don't get me wrong... I'm thrilled to discover I am definitely a size or two smaller than last year...
I just didn't need to discover it by trying to find some nice clothes to wear to see Dirty Dancing with my sister tonight. Everything is sagging/falling off and I don't have a decent belt!

I cannot find my squirt bottle to get Chester when he's being bad ANYWHERE.
I only have two rooms in this freaking apartment! It's not in either of its usual spots. It's not under the sofa or bed.

My subscription to Norton is going to expire in 30 days.
My computer is in some sorry shape. I know I've gotta have something on it to have it act this way.
Is there an anti-virus software that you'd recommend, at least something better than Norton?
A suggestion on where I can go/what I can do to fix this thing would also be appreciated... if I try to do it, my laptop will probably take a trip sixteen floors down.
