The "Teen Wolf" Season 3 tagline is "This might hurt." Well, we got a sneak peek at the first two new episodes, and we can definitely confirm that pain is in the cards for all the characters. And probably for the audience, too. The show returns June 3 at 10 p.m. EST, but in the meantime, here are eight teases to whet your appetite.1. The hot (LMAO!!!!) identical Alpha twins get shirtless
within the first few minutes of the premiere
because MTV obviously doesn't care about our eyesight
. You know, in case you aren't watching for the plot. Charlie Carver and Max Carver play the new kids at Beacon Hills High -- and just wait til you see them transform. They're different from any other werewolves, Alphas or not, that we've ever seen on the show before.2. Scott is on a self-improvement streak.
"I'm going to be better this year. a better student, a better son, better friend, better everything," he promises. And he's on a roll -- he's reading books, working out, studying for the PSATs, and saving up for a motorcycle. There's just one problem. In the four months since the finale, Derek hasn't told Scott about the Alpha pack, determined to let Scott be a normal teenager. If he does realize what's going on, he may be distracted from his book list.3. Derek doesn't live in his old ramshackle house anymore, because the county took it.
But before he leaves it behind, he shares a meaningful scene with Scott and Stiles there. It's a powerful moment that reveals a lot about Scott's mindset right now.... and about what Derek endured to get the spiral tattoo on his back.( More + some info. and pictures from the panel in London today!Collapse )Source Uno

French filmmaker Francois Ozon has been blasted by local politicians for telling THR, "it’s a fantasy of many women to do prostitution" and “there is kind of a passivity that women are looking for.”
Sitting down last week to discuss his Cannes competition entry, Young & Beautiful, French director Francois Ozon told The Hollywood Reporter "it’s a fantasy of many women to do prostitution."
Instead, it turns out it’s an imperative of many French women to condemn exactly that kind of statement. In the aftermath of Ozon’s Q&A with THR, numerous French media outlets have picked up on the story, and local politicians have weighed in to denounce the director’s views of female sexuality.
French newspaper Metro News France, was the first to pick up the interview, running a story detailing the director's statements and the local controversy they have caused, under the headline: "Says Francois Ozon, 'Many Women Fantasize About Being a Prostitute'" ("Pour François Ozon," 'beaucoup de femmes fantasment de se prostituer'").
From there, news outlets across France ran with it, leading Ozon to write on Twitter Wednesday that his remarks were “awkward and misunderstood,” and: "Obviously I wasn’t talking about women in general, just the characters in my film.“
Ozon made his first official appearance at Cannes in 2003 with his breakthrough film Swimming Pool; he's been one of the country’s more prolific filmmakers since, putting out a new project nearly every year. His 2013 Cannes competition entry, Young & Beautiful, is a sensuous and provocative exploration of a disaffected Parisian teen who turns to prostitution. Actress Marine Vacth has won glowing notices for her performance as the troubled young girl and has been touted as one of the news stars to emerge from this year's festival. But the film as a whole has divided critics – often along gender lines.( Read more...Collapse )Source
Councillor Jonathan Simpson has said the drugs and alcohol awareness programme is a 'fantastic cause'
The Mayor of Camden, Councillor Jonathan Simpson, has named the Amy Winehouse Foundation his charity of the year.
Re-elected on May 15 after the council's annual meeting, the Mayor will help raise funds for the charity, which seeks to provide a schools drug and alcohol education awareness programme called the Resilience Programme. Speaking after his election, Simpson stated: "Amy Winehouse was a popular figure in Camden and leaves a lasting legacy. The Foundation are a fantastic cause and I not only look forward to raising much needed funds for their work, but also supporting their aim of increasing drug and alcohol education to young people."
Meanwhle, Councillor Simpson's Mayoress for the coming year has been named as Puppini Sisters vocalist Marcella Puppini. "I am incredibly honoured to be asked to be by Jonathan's side as Mayoress of Camden," she said. "Camden is famous around the world because of its wonderful music heritage. I greatly admire Jonathan's passion and beliefs, and am truly looking forward to helping promote the local thriving music scene".Camden Council recently gave the go-ahead to plans to install a statue of late singer Amy Winehouse in the borough.
Artist Scott Easton's sculpture of the 'Back To Black' singer has been in the works for some time but, according to the Camden New Journal, Camden Town Conservation Authority had stated its opposition to the proposal. However, after a meeting earlier this month, local councillors approved the project and the statue will now be installed at a balcony in at Camden's Roundhouse venue this September. source♥
France’s Cannes Film Festival has seen its share of controversies since it started in 1946. Blame the Riviera sun or the filmmaking iconoclasts that gather on the red carpet each year, but various high jinks and bizarre publicity stunts have often dominated the festivities. Bold action isn’t always required to shake things up, however. Often times it’s just the movies themselves that cause a scene with audiences and the Cannes jury. With the current 66th annual festival underway, we wanted to take a look at ten of Cannes most controversial moments.Lars and Hitler
Let’s talk about the elephant in the room, shall we? While it’s no longer shocking to see Lars von Trier’s name pop up when controversies abound, the polarizing Danish director had the biggest foot-in-mouth moment during the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. Von Trier made an uncomfortable comment about “sympathizing” with Hitler during a press conference with Kirsten Dunst to promote Melancholia:( +++++++++++++++++++Collapse )source.
Filmmaker and actor Tyler Perry has surprised middle school students in Ohio by showing up at a musical concert and donating $100,000 to help student athletes in the city's South-Western schools.
The Columbus Dispatch reports that Perry was drawn to Finland Middle School on Friday after seeing a TV report about teacher Mary Mulvany starting a foundation to raise scholarship money to cover fees.
South-Western schools earned national attention when athletics and extra-curricular activities were eliminated after a failed levy in 2009. The ballot request was later approved by voters, and sports, clubs and other activities were resurrected for a fee.
Perry says he wants to sponsor as many children as possible and wants part of the money to go toward Finland and some to the foundation.
Mulvany says hundreds of children will be helped by Perry's contribution.snap for the kids, snap for the kids two times
Blah, blah, blah he makes stereotypical and bad movies but this seems nice.
Seattle rapper Macklemore and producer Ryan Lewis' headlining set to open Sasquatch Fest Friday night was certainly a homecoming to rival all homecomings."I've been backstage with anxiety, thinking, 'This is your people, your family, the Northwest is gonna be here tonight,'"
he told the audience at the Gorge Amphitheater, a stunning venue (and longtime home to Sasquatch) a four-hour drive east of Seattle. "What do I say to these people? How do I address 30,000 people here?"Then he delivered it: "I've been working my entire life to step up here onstage at the Gorge," he said, now emotional. "Nowhere in the world is as beautiful as the backdrop here."( More text & Instagram picsCollapse )
He also asked that people coming to the show bring donations for Goodwill that was on-site to take donations. I never had much of an opinion of him and I really don't like Thrift Shop, but he seems like a nice guy and he always looks so happy when he performs so I'm glad he's finding success.Source
