So spoiler alert - I couldn't get a cap of Robin looking insanely flattered when Barney says she's beautiful so that kind of blows. Try and imagine it or go watch the scene on megavideo because her reaction is awesome.

Barney: Question two. Robin! Do you think you can score a hotter guy than Ted?....

Barney: Correct! The answer was awkward silence. Question three, did I just make up this quiz to prove a point? Yes. Yes I did.

Robin: Really? You mean it’s not from old yellow legal pad magazine?
Barney: *giggles* So? We all agree? We move Ted’s stuff back up here?
Ted: Mmmm….no. We’re still moving in together.
Barney: Why? This is crazy. Ted, you’re throwing your life away, this girl is blinding you with her shiny hair and her boob shaped boobs!

*Robin looks down at her boob shaped boobs*

Barney: This is bad for you too, you know. How are you going to feel when he sees you without any makeup?

Robin: I’m not wearing makeup right now.

Barney: Holy crap, you’re beautiful! *Robin looks insanely flattered*

Barney: Alright then, how will you feel when you can’t sneak the occasional cigarette?

Ted: Oh, come on Robin doesn’t smoke. *Robin looks down awkwardly* Wait, do you?

Robin: Of course not. Why? Don’t tell me how to live my life!

See, even if BrOTP wasn't the initial idea of the writers, it still goes to show that Barney knows Robin way better than Ted! Ted seems to have that habit of falling insanely in love without really getting to know the girl first (ex. Stella and not knowing she had nut allergies)

This kind of stuff clearly shows how Barney and Robin are perfect together, because he notices the little stuff that actually matter to her. (Even though smoking is bad, haha)

I love that the 'correct answer' was awkward silence. because she totally could score a hotter guy: BARNEY!

No I am SO with you. Things like this in season 2 and 3 just scream BrOTP to me! Even when Barney is doing his one man play and he's a robot with no feelings and later says "spoiler alert! the robot falls in love!" My BR antennae just go up and start freaking out. I can't help but think Carter and Craig plan pretty far ahead and definitely started giving little clues on purpose by late season 2. So this scene is totally intentional to me ;)
