A little photoshoot... [04 Sep 2009|10:18pm] [ mood | accomplished ] [ music | Three Days Grace - Pain ] This is just me and D playing with my camera. I noticed while on vacation and also when out with D and her nieces last week that there are many, many things I don't know how to photograph properly. So I decided to play with as many settings as I could and also try night photography. D was a (mostly) patient model. Ahaha, really. It took forever for my to poke at all the dials and buttons and stuff. The screen I'm using presently is very old and very dark. So I used both my computer screen and my TV to try to adjust the lighting so it could be visible for most people. My screen is dark, my TV is bright. I tried to go for something in between the two. Since I was known all over the WK communities as aionwatha, I kept the name regardless, although I moved my personal journal and so I ended up with the two underscores on either side of the name. The actual meaning of the name is "One who searches for(to find) something" and is a less used spelling of the similar name Hiawatha. Usually a male name like... most of my names, given or otherwise, it just seemed to fit me very well in one of the hardest parts of my life.
