Physical Description: 6ft1, Caucasian male, blond hair, blue eyes. Tom is of medium build and is physcially strong. Not one to dress up, Tom wears regular trousers, shirts, vests, suspenders, a duster coat and hat usually. And his gun holster and pistols of course

Personality: Tom is a good ol' boy, easy going, witty and general good guy, fighting for truth, justice and the American way. Tom is clever but his overly optimistic about life and a bit naive. He does take his responsibilities seriously however and will fight tooth and nail over them, the same goes for his friendships as well.

Skills/ Abilities: Physically fit and strong, Tom knows a thing or two about fighting and is a good shot with both pistols and a shotgun after learning from the master himself, Alan Quatermain. As a secret agent and spy, Tom is good at covert entries and going undercover to serve his country.

Flaws: Overly optimistic, Tom can overlook things and be taken in at times. He is a tad too adventurous and will put himself in harms way without thinking and may put others in harms way without thinking about it. He is also human and can be hurt, tortured and killed as such.

Brief History: Tom Sawyer grew up in St. Petersburg, Missouri and was raised by his Aunt Polly with his half-brother Sid. As a child, Tom was a mischievous young boy who often got into trouble, especially with his best friend Huckleberry Finn. One night the pair witnessed Injun Joe murdering Dr. Robinson in the cemetery. Both swore never to speak of the event but when another man was arrested for the crime Tom felt he had to tell the truth and bring Injun Joe to justice.

His adventures didn’t stop there and as a young man Tom toured the Mississippi river, finding and creating all sorts of havoc just for the thrill of adventure. Through for a brief period it seemed that Tom was finally going to settle down when he proposed to his childhood sweetheart, Rebecca “Becky” Thatcher. But when the US government approached Tom to join the Secret Service, the adventurer in him couldn’t say no.

After a fight with Becky and breaking off the engagement, Tom made his way to Washington where he was reunited with his old friend Huck Finn who was also recruited. Tom was assigned a mission in London where he was to investigate the Fathom, a rising criminal in Europe which lead to him infiltrating the League.

Tom and his fellow League members managed to stop the Fathom who was revealed to be none other than Professor James Moriarty, the so-called Napoleon of Crime. In the battle Alan Quatermain, the team leader and Tom’s mentor was killed. With respect for their fallen leader, the league return Quatermain’s body to Africa for a final farewell and Tom heads back to the US for his next mission.
