I need fic where Bradley and Colin are (ambitious but) rubbish spies and that facial hair is part of the (unintentional) Worst Disguise Ever. Katie and Angel can be partners in the same organisation (or a rival one!) that are constantly amazed that the boys have managed to stay alive this long.

Basically, I need an explanation for why anyone would ever let Bradley go that long without shaving. Seriously.

It does disturb me a little bit how often Bradley reminds me of my brother. They're both handsome dorks with occasionally ill-advised facial hair! Bless. (I do feel the need to point out that I am not attracted to my brother, however. I know what you lot are like.)


This term has gone far too quickly. Three weeks left, wtf. Had another meeting about my dissertation, which was good and useful and interesting up until the point where my supervisor told me that I have to do the hypnotising. SERIOUSLY, WHAT.

Ahaha. I have a script and such, it's not like they're just throwing me into the room and going, "You. Make them do everything you say," but ahhhhh. I feel the need to grow a goatee.

So, yeah. Look forward to my undoubtedly hilarious updates where I talk about how much I fail at convincing people to listen to my voice and no, wait, don't actually go to sleep.

I got into a bad habit of never updating over summer and it's been hard to break. I might try to do NaBloPoMo again this year, maybe. (I gave up on the 28th last year XD)

I have a lecture in just over an hour. I should probably get dressed. My timetable is rather empty this term but I'm proud that I've only missed one class so far, and that's because I was genuinely ill. \o/

I'm back at my uni house! Lectures start on Monday so I kinda had to come back... not thrilled, because it's cold and the internet connection is crap and the tv is temperamental and my bed is small and squeaky and there's a million other petty things I could complain about because my home is so wonderful and this is not it. Also I have to like, talk to people who are not my family. wtf is up with that.

(okay seriously i'm actually happy to be back, because although second year massively sucked for me my courses for this term are insanely awesome (Conscious and Unconscious Mental Processes; Synaesthesia and the Mixing of the Senses; The Philosophy of Psychology; fuck yeah! \o/) and i am rather fond of my housemates, despite my antisocial tendency for hiding in my room all the time)

silly little fyi, but I'm going up north for day or so to see a reindeer (and by 'up north' I mean 'Hertforshire'), and I doubt I'll have internet access so um, be good. (srsly, I'll be back tomorrow night. aha. I don't get out much.)

I should kinda get packing. I've got another ten minutes before I need to wash my hair (I'm going an even brighter red! and I've had it cut. I think I look a bit like a red-headed Poland. I'll totally post pictures, like, eventually.) and I'm tempted to print out some fic notes so I can possibly do some writing in the hotel but, eh.

I was lucky enough to get the awesome fic In This Time and Place by katiebugs18, which you absolutely must read (mostly because it's awesome, but also because the art probably doesn't make sense outside of context XD). ♥!

Merlin Big Bang is live! omg, so much awesome all at once, I don't even know what to do with myself. Um. My art is here, and the wonderful story the scene is from is here, and you absolutely must go read like, everything, and the art! oh my. I'm going to try to comment on every piece because it's all so crazy beautiful.

So hey, I have a new fandom. This was accidental and unexpected, but I kept hearing such cracky good things about Hetalia that I found the first episode of the anime and started watching and just... couldn't stop. I've read pretty much all the scanlated official strips and a few untranslated ones (they're all so pretty~) and an awful lot of doujinshi and in wandering around the fandom have discovered that everyone is ridiculously talented, and so I'm rather in love with it all right now. (there's even songs! I love fandoms that give me canon songs!)
