I really feel the need to talk about the Tv show Bones for a moment. It's probably my #1 favorite show currently on TV (only narrowly beating out Battlestar Galactica, due to the crap that was the middle of the 3rd season, and the fact that they made us wait A YEAR between seasons 3 and 4 and now they're splitting up season 4 so we have to wait ALMOST a year for the conclusion. This angers me. Thus Battlestar gets moved down to Favorite show #2, and for those of you interested How I Met Your Mother rounds out the top 3).<br /><br />I'm leaving this post public, so that Bones fans who are not on my f'list can read. If you're not into Bones or have an issue with how devoted I am to a TV show, please don't comment, this is my journal and I'll post what I like.<br /><br />ANYWAY, <b>If you live under a rock and missed the season 3 finale DO NOT read under the cut as it is very very very very very spoilery. </b>Everyone else, please read on. (I've also included a little icon tribute to my favorite Bones character under the cut.)<br /><br /><a name="cutid1"></a><br /><br />I should start off by saying that I KNOW Bones is only a TV show, but as someone who has very few friends, and spends most of her time making icons and watching TV, I've become very emotionally invested in this show. So forgive me while I talk about it as if it were real.<br /><br />I gave Bones a chance due to the wonderful David Boreanaz, and I'd give anything he's a part of a chance, lol. The first season was a bit rocky, but it really grew into it's own and became this amazing show, that I quite honestly couldn't get enough of. I'm a very emotional person and I cry at TV and movies quite frequently. And it seems like I cry at the end of or during almost every Bones episode (or at least every other) and I'll never forget the first episode that I cried to. It was the first seasons Christmas episode, lol. <br />And the Aliens in a Spaceship episode (or the Gravedigger episode for those of you unfamiliar with episode names) probably made me cry harder than any tv show or movie that I have ever watched (and I cried just as hard over multiple rewatchings of that episode.)<br /><br />However, The finale for season 3 now wins as the episode I've cried the hardest to. And the longest for that matter. This might be a good time to mention that from episode 1 Zack Addy has been my favorite Bones character. And in such an amazing cast with such incredible chemistry, my love for Zack never wavered, he was ALWAYS my favorite.<br /><br />I had my suspicions about Zack being the killers apprentice for quite some time now. At first I thought for sure it was Sweets, but episodes went on the more I thought about it being Zack the more I thought it was possible. Of all the regular cast members, he's the only one who went through a profound change with being sent to (and home from) Iraq. And I'm sure next season (the creators have said they're not done with Zack, so I'm sure we'll see a lot of Bones and Hodgins visiting him, at the very least) they'll get even more into why Zack did what he did, and I'm sure his trip to Iraq will be brought up.<br /><br />However, I was deeply in denial, convincing myself that it must be Sweets, and that it COULDN'T be Zack. But as the season finale got under way, it started to get VERY obvious that it was indeed Zack. And about 20 minutes into the episode when he was in the hospital describing his dream to Angela and Hodgins, I knew at that moment without a doubt that it was him, and I won't lie, I started crying then and cried through the rest of the episode. <br /><br />I'd like to take a moment to point out the incredible acting abilities of this cast. Every last one of them. Even Cam/the actress who plays her, who I disliked immensely when she first started, but grew to like her as the seasons progressed, When she was in the hospital reading to Zack and Booth and Bones came in. The look on her face when she figured out why they were there. The shock, the disbelief, all of it, it LOOKED real. Amazing acting on her part.<br /><br />And then after that when Bones was talking to Zack and their faces were super close, as soon as that tear rolled down his cheek it was over for me, I was crying so hard I was literally sobbing. This was without a doubt the saddest most incredible episode of TV in a good long time. <br /><br />Other episode moments worth mentioning:<br />- Booths fake funeral at the beginning. Lame....lame...lame. Reminded me of the time on Buffy when Cordy got skewered and then the next scene they cut to Buffy and Willow in the graveyard (during the day, and they pretty much never went to the graveyard during the day) and there's a funeral going on) it was a cheap trick. Did they ever even explain exactly who that guy he took down was? Lame.<br />- I liked Bones' confrontation with Sweets away from Booth after she found out he "experimented" on them, but purposely not telling Bones that Booth wasn't dead. It's the only good thing that came from the whole fake death thing.<br />- The confrontation between Booth and Sweets in the diner when Booth accused him of being the killer.....I wanted so badly for it to be him. I had a glimmer of hope when he resisted arrest....I really don't like Sweets much, and he's certainly no replacement to the group dynamic for Zack. <br />- The hug between Angela and Hodgins towards the end, when they're all standing outside Zack's hospital room. It was the first time we saw Hodgins after we officially found out about Zack, and again I have to say, INCREDIBLE acting, I felt his pain. <br />- And of course, the scene at the end (p.s. I'm tearing up for about the millionth time since I started writing this) when they're going through the box of things that were important to Zack. And Bones thinks she didn't give Zack anything and Booth comes out into the hall and reads that letter. Amazing.<br /><br />Aaaaaaaaaand I think that's it. I'm dying for the next season to start already. He's a healthy cat, just needs some eye drops for a scratch on his eye, and he only needs them for another week. <br /><br />He's a beauiful grey and white long haired cat, he's neutered and declawed on his front paws. He's not currently up to date on vaccines, but I'll take care of that. He's a bit on the shy side, but a good brushing is the key to his heart, he'll purr and climb into your lap, he's VERY sweet. <br /><br />However, my cats DO have claws and do not take kindly to new cats so I cannot keep him. If you or anyone you know is interested in this cat PLEASE let me know. He's such a sweet kitty and I'd really like to find him a good home. The current tennants will be out by the 31st, but probably before that.<br /><br />I'm officially moving out in less than 30 days. It's kinda scary, but I'm ready, lol, it's way past time to get out of my mother's house, lol. It's going to be an adjustment, getting used to living with Matt, and being away from home. But after over 2 and a half years, our relationship is still amazing, and I couldn't imagine anyone I'd rather live with.<br /><br />And best of all, our landlady (who's young, I think like 26ish) said bunny's are okay, so if I haven't found a home for Samson by then, he can come too. Things are going really well with little Samson. He's getting to be VERY friendly. He's still a little shy around strangers, but once he gets used to you, he's super friendly.<br /><b>If anyone's looking for a bunny, I would HIGHLY reccommend him</b>. I'd keep him myself, except that I'd like to continue fostering, and if I'm gonna keep one, it'll be one who has less of a chance of being adopted.<br /><br />So, basically, things are going super well. Job is wonderful, things with Matt are great, apartment hunting is FINALLY over, and I get to keep fostering bunnies! So it used to be that when someone would surrender a rabbit, or rabbits were taken from unfit homes, they would just put them to sleep without even trying to adopt them out.<br /><br />Which is why one of the techs at my work runs a bunny rescue, that takes in any bunnies that come to the shelter, and fosters them until they can find a home. Which brings me to my point.<br /><br />I officially become a foster mom again on monday. And I could not be more excited. I've totally got bunny fever. He's a 4.5 pound all black rex. We're not sure how old he is, but we're guessing on the younger side because his teeth were very white. He was neutered today, and I'm gonna go pick him up on Monday (He's at my work, but I have mondays off)<br /><br />Some of you may know I used to foster kittens (see back entries for adorable pictures), but then we moved, and my room wasn't the best place for baby kittens. And my whole life I've always wanted a rabbit, but my mother never let me (I called her this morning and told her she had no choice). So I'm really looking forward to this. I've got some serious cleaning to do this weekend, then a trip to Petsmart to get some fun bunny things.<br /><br />The only thing I need now is a name. Work is good, lol, we had a rough week last week, lots of sad things going on and a new doctor that wasn't really meshing well. But, it's a new week, and the new doctor quit, and I got to bring one of my kitties to work today. It was wonderful.<br /><br />Aparment hunting is not going so wonderfully. Matt called this one place and asked if they allow cats, and the woman failed to tell him on the phone is that they only allow 2 cats and they have to be declawed. He has 3, and they're not, so it was a huge waste of our time. I don't understand why she didn't tell him that on the phone, especially the declawed part. <br /><br />Things with us are going well though. Tomorrow is 2 and a half years. Sometimes I can't believe it's been that long, and other times I can't remember what my life was like before him (in a good way).<br /><br />And now, because it is my way, and because one of my
