So the other day, I got to hang out with my high school friends. Here's a highlight of the event:

Haha, yea right, that's Craig and Geoff... I've known Geoff since he was like 6 years old.
I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. I didn't do much today except sleep and read The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd. But I haven't really gotten very far in it. :( ANYWAY....
Doesn't seeing Christmas trees make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside? (Except if you're Jewish; however, you may not have the Christmas tree, but you do have CHOCOLATE RUGALECH aka PARADISE IN YOUR MOUTH)
Um, ok... before I mentioned all the cool stuff I got for Christmas. I took some pictures for your enjoyment.

Ok, so I am not a fan of UGGs, but I must say that I am a fan of Roxy. I also am a fan of Roxy sales. And so I bought Idaho boots for reasons unknown to me. I just wanted warm shoes for the few times I go to cold places. But I think they are cute so you must too. :)
AND, I went to the Seminole Hard Rock Casino today and saw Julia! She was waving at me, but I usually am in my own land and didn't notice until she's like HIII!!! And I was like OH HI SORRY!!!! Haha, she works at some restaurant there, but it was good to see her alive and well.
Anddddddddd here are the lyrics to the Numb/Encore song that I am deeply in love with. I must have listened to this CD like 3703812 times today. ( Thank you, thank you, thank you, you're far too kindCollapse )

Ok, I don't know if any of you like Linkin Park, but I am a fan.
Today, before the afternoon of hell began, I bought the Linkin Park/Jay Z CD and it is great!
There are six songs on it, but I really like it.
1. Dirt off your Shoulder/Lying from You
2. Big Pimpin'/Papercut
3. Jigga What/Faint
4. Numb/Encore <3333
5. Izzo/In the End
6. Points of Authority/99 Problems/One Step Closer
I really, really like track 4 although I don't really like Numb (when sung alone).

Grades come out tomorrow! Ahh!!
Anyway, my sister is playing the Sims 2 on my computer so I am updating LJ on hers. :)
I couldn't sleep last night and ended up going to the mall this morning. I went to the surf store, but there wasn't anything of my liking there. So then I went to Sepora, got some Stila eyeliner and UrbanDecay mascars along with some stuff for Joe. I then went off to Urban Outfitters and got my iPOD case.
When I got home, I took quite the nap, had lunch and all that good stuff.
Tomorrow: go to PetSmart and buy my animal dog food.

Anyway, so today I went to the Thai Cafe with Joe (the bf <3 ) and then went to drop off more Christmas presents. Well, one, really. So we went to my friend's house to give her the gift and then she's like "let's go to Toys R' Us". Yes, 4 days before Christmas. It wasn't as crazy as you'd imagine; however, we didn't find what she needed. We then went to Best Buy and then to WalMart 1 and then to another Wal Mart. Now going to Wal Mart makes me feel really gross and dirty due to the fact it's very flea market like, but I did buy Napoleon Dynamite!! And it wasn't even the 21st yet. Awesome!! On Wednesday, Im going to meet up with my friend again because she still has to give me my gift.
Um, ok, I guess I should hit the sack now since I want to wake up at 7am and run. Hopefully its not freezing in the AM because I don't have warm exercise gear.

Wow, this is my friend public post in over a year.
Anyway, my cousin Melanie and my aunt Mariela are coming to Miami for Christmas. I'm really looking forward to that because Christmas is usually pretty boring considering the fact that both my parents are in health care so they have to work. So yea. They are flying on the 24th and will be landing at approx. 4pm EST which is cool because then we can still have dinner together... even though they will be dead tired.
Today I would have really liked to go Christmas shopping for myself; however, I went to bed at 6am and woke up at like 4pm. Sleeping that long only reminds me of my lovely roommate who could probably sleep for 24 hours straight if the opportunity came up. But tonight, I swear I'm going to get my sleeping schedule on track and wake up at 7am.
I'm supposed to be doing daily workouts so I can return back to school all fit and junk, but lately, I haven't really been too motivated. I'll bring out my bike one of these days and hit up the park... hopefully the park will be empty and I'll be the lone rider. And as much as I'd enjoy that, it would probably be the scariest thing EVER.
My sister is making me soup as I type this up. Last night, I kept eating junk food and today I'm just in the mood to feel alive again so she's making some veggie soup with extra noodles--just how I like it. ;)
