With the release of the Hunger Games 3 title (squee - Mockingjay!) and cover art (and the fact that the snow has made the unfortunate occurrence of Scholastic internship Wednesdays, much to my dismay and utter disappointment), I was inspired to make icons for my favorite Hunger Games / Catching Fire quotes from Peeta & Katniss.

Since I am such in a great mood, I'll be taking icon requests of anyone's favorite quote. Maximum of two per person. Give me the actual quote with correct spelling and punctuation pleas and the character's name. Comment below with the requests. :) I will be taking requests until Saturday, February 13, 2010 September 4, 2010 and completed requests will be posted here.

UPDATE: REQUESTS CLOSED - 8/31.
Sorry everyone, but I didn't think I would be getting this much requests... I think I've filled my quota!

Warning: Mockingjay Spoilers!!!!

Ok, so today, I have absolutely wasted (well, not really in my terms) a productive day doing nothing but fangirl stuff.

I wasted away my morning browsing on some fanfiction (I am still neglecting to read dmhgficexchange  even if I am weeks behind - eep!!!) though I didn't find anything good.

Sigh, ok, I really don't like to talk about RL stuff on LJ but RL has induced another fangirl craze in me. My internship has gotten me crazed over the Hunger Games trilogy and now there's nothing I could do to stop it. It's probably not as terrible as my HP-obsession but it is still an obsession nonetheless.

I spent the afternoon polishing off the Peeta Mellark fanlisting, then proceeding to do the Katniss Everdeen fanlisting. (I got really obsessed with this new random quote generator snippet that I have found. It is too fun to use!) Building the websites - aka playing with the random quote generator - pretty much meant that I spent the whole afternoon looking up quotes from Hunger Games and Catching Fire. Which makes me want to reread both books but alas my copies are with my friends. Sigh.

So after realizing that I had spent the whole day on the computer, I chastised myself for being so irresponsible so naturally, I went downstairs to watch a movie or two on the new and snazzy Roku player that hooks up to my Netflix instant queue! (SO COOL!) I finally got around to watching Lost in Austen (as recommended by elvishly , I recall) which was a non-stop squee fest of three hours!

Now I am desperately hoping to dream of Mr. Darcy. *smacks self on the forehead*

I didn't watch the Golden Globes. Oh well. It's not the Oscars anyways. Going for a quick shower then back with my date with the Roku player. The English Patient awaits ... aka Lord Voldy.
