Just a quick post to say that I've changed my layout.... Another Boyd one. I went for simplicity this time around. I wanted something clean. :)

The text on the banner is from the song "High Times" by Landon Pigg featuring the Turbo Fruits from the movie Whip It.

Have a nice day f-list.

I was in an actual icon-making mood this weekend (AKA procrastination). Finally switched to the Mac and I'm slowly getting used to using Photoshop. Really, the only difference is copying and pasting but still.

Anyways... The manipulation was sort of made by accident. I was making long overdue banners for [info]dmhg_icontest when my sister went, "WHOA is that a real picture?!"

Whooops. I planned to post these during the summer, but I never came around to actually doing it. Call it sheer laziness. I was just about to turn off the computer and just read all night, but I made myself stop being such a lazy bum and post these.

So yeah, there's been a lull in my graphic-making. Sorry. But I've been busy, and when I'm not that busy, I should be doing RL stuff that needs my undivided attention (which  I haven't given).

Without further ado, here are some manipulations from the recent  [info]dramione_awards and Round Four of [info]dramione_ldws

Icons to come, if I ever  find my muse.

*nods*

So I finally got to read some unsolicited manuscripts at my internship today. And I kind of wished, I could just read stuff from published authors all the time. I'm not supposed to expect to read anything good in the "slush pile", but after a few it gets kind of torturous.

I think it's safe to say that my f-list has written better stuff than the novels I read today.

... Still, it was a good experience.

Don't ever leave your LJ unattended for more than four days because it's hell to get back on track again.

I've really only been doing this for an hour, but I think the fact that I haven't touched a computer for ten days is getting to me. Seriously? How is this possible?

I got back from South Carolina today. A gruelling eleven hour drive. I don't know why we do it. Others just take the easy way out and fly... but that is more costly.

So here I am... trying to catch up for the next hour or two... Sigh.

I've been wanting to post the manip from [info]dramione_awards since... last month, but I never got around to it. I'll probably be procrastinating tomorrow so I hope I get around to it.
