When we dream of someone, we must know that the dream is then not about that someone.
I had a dream about a crush <3 so lovely right. And everything in that dream was perfect and desirable. But there are two ways of looking at it. One, is that my desire has created this dream, and having this dream validates that I'm channeling energies into the world to pull in what I desire. YES. Two, is the annoyingly rational way of interpreting dreams, thanks to the men (I repeat, MEN) of psychoanalysis from our civilized past.
I'll not go into details, but what this dream tells me (according to these, MEN) is that I'll be very happy and comfortable in a marriage, despite what my beliefs are for now and whether or not others judge me for it.
but, NOOOOO that's not what I want in reality! I don't wanna get married! Darn this sub conscience.
I guess in the end, life is bigger and badder than us, and we can only try to fight it. So when we let go of our individual ego, we allow a bigger badder universe happen to us. Once we clear our minds, the universe rushes in. That's what I'll do, I'll let it rush in.

And now, some thoughts on decoration.
Humans can't help but decorate, even limitations on the Muslim religion didn't stop them from decorating their mosques with inspired tessellations. Plants, birds and fossils evolved their own set of decorations. One would wonder how an orchid plant, without any visual organs, could produce a bodily extension that looks so colourful and cute.
The modernists were probably living in another dimension.
