my mom just said i'm selfish and self-centered, and it would be better for everyone if i went to live with my dad so she could move out and do whatever she wanted without having so much agrivation.

i'm not gonna lie, i'm seriously considering it.

we get into so many arguments like this and it's always so utterly unprovoked. i was literally sitting on my computer not saying anything when she started yelling at me about things i'm not even involved with, and basically said that she's not going to do shit for me anymore, including help with college. oh, okay.

frankyl, if she's stressed she should just say "yeah i'm really stressed, sorry for taking it out on you." but i never even get that. i just get, ursula everything is pretty much your fault and life would have been so much better without you.

maybe philly wouldn't be that bad.

I know I never comment, forgive me.

But I needed to let you know that you are def. not alone in these circumstances.
Unlike you, my parents are still together. However, I am berated almost on a regular basis and have started looking for another place just recently. I usually get called the source of the problems here even though I spend roughly about 20% of my time at home. Ive also been locked out and told that I could go pay for my schooling myself.

Enough about me though. Parents are insane and it seems as you get older, they start to think more about themselves. That being said, if you are going to move to your dads, try your best to leave on good terms. It is possible. I found arranging a time to sit and talk - and try to make some sort of compromise regarding living at home and see if it can work.

I learned from nursing, in dealing with a person with a mental illness (we'll just say crazy) that if you're approach isn't working & they continue to be agititated/upset, that you shouldnt expect them to be the ones to change; you have to be the one to change your approach.

good luck.
