The weather has been super crappy here so I did some retail therapy. I went to CVS haha.

I did this next look trying to make my skin look super "glowy" with my MSFs.

I wore this look to go see The Dark Knight. I got fresh green mix and I tried to do a somewhat similar look to the one the MAC girl did on me. She used Humid and I replaced that with the mixed side of fresh green mix.

So last night I went to the 3 doors down concert and we ended up hanging out backstage with Hinder and Jet Black Stare!! It was fucking crazy!! And I'm only 16 so I was like "OMFG I cant believe this, its crazyyy"
I didnt take any closeups of my makeup but I had a very neutral look using UD deluxe shadows, Warmed MSF, Spaced Out blush and Pleasureseeker l/s.


Then I did an amazing MAC Haul today and got my makeup done too (sorry dont have any pics of this.

This look started out serious and then I messed up so I made it a little over the top!

I was dying to use my Pharaoh Paint Pot that I got at my CCO on Sunday.

This was my first time going to a CCO. I went to the one in Clinton CT. It was great!! They didnt have an AMAZING selection but they had just enough to make me happy. I was rushed for time so I was in there maybe 15 mins.

My total was $40 so that was great for 3 items!

I loveeeee this look! Teals are my fave and I did this look as a funky version of a smoky eye. I also wanted to use my new Dame blush!
( I'm not going to lie this look is hot. )

This was a quick look for running errands. I used a POP navy glitter liner and Cool Heat Shadow. My cheeks were Sweetness BPB and a pink shimmer powder. My lips were Tread Gently tendertone. ( easy look with navy liner and cool heat )

I was just having some fun with this look! I only did one side of my face.
I used Sweetness BPB and a Bonne Bell Pink Shimmer Powder. How do you think this combo looks on my cheeks? It is a little exaggerated from what I would wear out.

My eyes were a purple NYC shadow and the Bonne Bell Pink Shimmer Powder with Milani eyeliner.

I just got Gulf Stream and Cool Heat e/s in the mail! I had to do a look with them.
This is one of my best looks so far IMO. Thanks to this community I know a lot more about blending highlight etc. I added the gold somewhat last minute (It is BE Glimmer in 24 Karat (not my fave but its pretty)) but I think it looks good with the greens and teals! Tell me what you think?

I was just in CVS today and I fell in love with these Rimmel eye pencils. I tested out 3 colors and they are great. The pink one comes out more peachy and it compliments my tan PERFECTLY. The teal is great for a thick liner or an all over shadow base. there is also a coppery orange that looks scary but would look pretty with browns or pinks.
I think these cost $5.99 each but look for $1 off coupons in the newspaper.

Hey guys sorry I haven't been updating at all! I have been working as a lifeguard pretty much every day. I haven't been wearing much makeup at all because we have been going through a MAJOR heatwave and me sitting outside sweating all day doesn't work with makeup.

When I am sitting out in the sun I have to wear a lot of sunscreen to protect my skin from damage.
I have been using:
Aveeno Sunscreen for my face in SPF 70
I have to use a different sunscreen for my face because most sunscreens make me break out so I look for ones made specifically for the face.


Neutrogena Fresh Cooling Mist
I love using mists on my body because they are really easy to apply. Again I look for the highest SPF and the one I have is SPF 50.


On my lips I use Blistex with SPF 15 to moisturize them. Sometimes I also layer a fruity gloss over to give me a little color.

Yay I figured out how to get my pics to be big and show details of the make-up! Thanks to the girls on MAC Cosmetics who suggested I work on the pictures. This is a teaser but there are big ones under the cut!

This is the look I wore tonight to have some fun with my friends =)
I just did a winged black liner and neutral shadow on my eyes.
My cheeks I used a purple-ish blush to match my purple shirt. (True Romantic Beauty Powder Blush)
I had bronzer on all over my face!
My lips were a nude shimmery lip with Fleshpot lipstick and my new favorite Bare Necessity Dazzleglass

This first look was a look for the new MAC Collection-- Neo SciFi. This collection has a lot of neutrals and bronze colors. I love the brighttt orange packaging. If you go by a MAC check out the lip colors especially the lipstick in Pleasureseeker (a peach shimmer) and lipglass in Pink Grapefruit (orange mixed with red-- the perfect summer gloss). They also have bronzing powders and 2 new blushes.



Another neutral look. I think this was for going out for a meeting at work.

Hey guys! So I have been MIA for a while but now I'm back!
First I am going to show you my CVS haul from last week. I got 2 brushes from the CVS line "Essence of Beauty". They were buy one get one 50 % off so my total for the brushes was $7.50. I got an angled blush brush and a dual sided smoky eye brush.
I love the angled brush and I think it is a great knockoff of the way more expensive MAC 168 Large Angle Contour Brush which at $32.00 I cannot afford! This brush is a steal at $5.99. It applies powder great and is small enough for on the go.
The dual sided eyeshadow brush is great for neutral eye looks because you can use the big side to apply a light color all over the eyelid. The smaller pointed side is great for crease colors.
I also got a Bronze eyeliner for $4.99.

Next is my online haul from maccosmetics.com. I had to buy some items that were sold out at the MAC store. I got 2 Beauty Powder Blushes (Eversun & True Romantic). They are the bronze and purple blushes in the picture. They are both super unique and fabulous just like the Beauty Powder Blush I already owned in Shy Beauty.
Then I got a paint pot in Rolickin'. This is a great teal cream shadow that can be used alone as a sheer wash for the eye or as a base for teal looks.
I picked up a Dazzleglass in Bare Necessity. Dazzleglasses are super sparkly & this gloss is perfect for a night out! I love to use it over neutral or nude lips.
Last but not least I got another Mineralize Skinfinish in Light Flush. This is a great cheek highlighter that goes with most blush and bronzer colors. It is from the same collection as my Warmed MSF. Pick one up online before it sells out for good!
