i need help from parents on my list
at 7 months old does my daughter need a new car seat? I'm pretty sure that you can move the straps on teh one she has now but I'm not for sure.

Help?

They are based on height, and weight, NOT by age.... so look up the height and weight max on your current seat. I was told when we shopped for a forward facing seat, that for as long as she'd fit in a rear-facing seat, to keep her in one, since they are safer. I'm no car seat expert though!

Depends on how much she weighs and how long she is. If she's in a rear facing infant car seat, the limit is probably somewhere around 30 inches and 20lbs.

I'm sure you already know this too, but just wanted to make sure... she needs to remain rear facing until she is AT LEAST one year AND a minimum of 20lbs though it's safest to keep her rear facing until she maxes out the weight limit for rear facing.

you dont need to replace it until shes like 12 months as long as shes the height and weight requirements for a booster seat, the side panel on her carseat now should say.

I agree with the height/weight...robbie was in his infant seat until he was about 9mos because he was still in the height/weight area for it. If you get a new one get a convertible type that will last longer.
