Taliesin is the oldest of three children, growing up in London, where he realized very early on that he didn't really fit in there. His parents were a bit on the controlling side, and, as the oldest son, Taliesin always felt there was far too much pressure put upon him. However, he loved his younger siblings very much and did the best job he could to be a proper role model for them while in such an environment.

Everything went well up until Taliesin's first year of college. The pressure seemed to intensify to amounts that he didn't think he could handle and, for one reason or the other (his excuse, at the time, being "I'm looking for something"), Taliesin decided that he wasn't properly equipped to handle college at the present time. Against his mother's wishes, he left home, taking what money he had and setting his sights on traveling the world for about a year or so.

During his travels was when the dreams began, dreams of dragons and the earth falling to ruin. The next night was similar, only now he had a definite location instructing him where he was to go: Sydney, Australia. He was confused, to be sure, but when he received the same dream three nights in a row, he decided he couldn't exactly ignore it anymore.

Thus, he used what money he had left to get himself to Sydney and obtain a small apartment. After getting back into contact with his family, he was sent enough money to attend college, where he earned degrees in education and English. Satisfied, he set about finding a steady job, which he did, and he has since moved into a bigger apartment.

Through his dreams, he had determined the two sides, and, after reflecting on his travels, he chose to side with the Angels. Now, all he must do is wait for the appointed day to come.

personality;

Taliesin is a man of many layers, having learned to adapt many masks around the children he instructs. There's the smiling, happy layer, which he tends to pull out more often if he's had a bad day and doesn't want the rest of the world worrying about him or he's passing out exams; there's a serious, no-nonsense side that he adopts after he's come out of one of his dreams and tries to make sense of what he saw or when dealing with problem students...

He tends to cover up any pain he feels with one of the aforementioned masks, making it thusly almost impossible to tell what he really feels at any given time. His fellow teachers find this rather frustrating about him, however, and several people have tried to break down the masks to no avail.

When it comes to the end of the world, he knows that with his dreams, he should be neutral and not take any side in this, despite the fact he has recently been designated a side. However, due to his travels, he has come to the realization that the world can't take the strain humanity's putting upon it and, if it requires the sacrifice of the human race in order to give the planet time to heal, then so be it. Sometimes, however, he wonders if maybe he would have been better off staying as he was.

There are only certain people he will ever allow to see his true self or, at the very least, the supportive and caring side of his personality, and that is to the Angels themselves. They need money? He'll be the one to provide as much as he can for them. Place to stay? His door's open. In a sense, he can be a bit of a pushover, but only when it comes to them.

At this point in time, he isn't quite sure if he believes in any "god" per se. However, he is firmly convinced that there is a reason why he has the dreams he does, a reason why he now has the side he does. He's just not entirely sure what that reason is yet.

At the moment, Taliesin only has one major fear: losing himself within the dreams he sees. Of course, this, like everything else, is firmly buried beneath his masks.
