how you doin? i'm dougie; 16 years old; terrorizing the citizens of Aberdeen/HdG, MD everyday. I'm a junior, homeschooled, and will graduate with the class of
2006.
so you want to know a little bit about
me. Online I can seem to be a happy person and we all know that we can put on facades online. But the real me is someone who is being treated for major depression, and I'm going to be tested and examined to see if I'm bi-polar. Normally I try not to let my issues come out and effect what I say and do.. but sometimes it happens. Other little tidbits about me include: I love theatre and participate in community theatres regularly; when I'm on an up-moodswing, I can be the most hyper person you will ever meet; and I read many books on a regular basis.
i'm a huge fan of graphics and
making graphics. I initially started out doing graphics in the Summer of 2002 with
PSP7. At first I was a complete boob with that program. But after many, many, many months of practicing, learning techiniques and working to make quality graphics, I can say that I'm pretty proud of most all of my work. And I still use
PSP7 to this day. If you wanna check out my icons or graphics you can go

Currently I'm not involved in any kind of relationship because the
love of my life has a boyfriend. We won't mention names here. But she's my
best friend and probably the sweetest girl I've ever met. I love her to death and if she would ever give me the chance, I'd spend my every day trying to make her feel the same way about me.
I'm a music freak. That's something you should know about me. When I was a baby, and probably up till the time I was 4 or 5, I went to day care every day. And every day to and from, I can remember hearing the likes of Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Madonna, and especially Paula Abdul. I used to like Paula Abdul so much that we wore out a cassette version of her album "
Forever Your Girl." As I got older, I never really strayed from the Pop Genre, a few musicians or bands here and there that weren't exactly Pop. But my first and foremost love was
Pop Music. In, I guess, the 5th or 6th grade, I remember hearing "
Genie In A Bottle" by Former-Mousketeer, Christina Aguilera. I was hooked and obsessed instantly. I'd always loved Britney Spears, but she can't hold a candle to my girl, Christina. Currently my favorite band is the Scissor Sisters, I accidently downloaded their album about a year ago (waay before they released it in the States) and I was instanly hooked. They are
my band.
I'm the self-proclaimed biggest Christina fan around, I'm sure there's someone out there who would argue that fact, but I don't know them so
there. For me, Christina has always been more than just a pretty face, or a pretty voice. Granted she
is both of those things, but to me, she's more. Her music and her positive messages and outlooks have helped me through some really tough times in my life. To
this day, "
Beautiful" remains my all-time favorite song, and helps me feel up when I'm down. I was privileged enough to get to see Christina in concert on August 25th, 2003. It was the best night of my life. My tickets were 15 rows from the stage, floor. And I was the most excited and happiest person in the MCI Center that night. During Christina's last song, which was "
Beautiful," I held up my sign which read "I LOVE YOU CHRISTINA! U ARE BEAUTIFUL!" and she pointed at me and said that she loved my sign. It meant
so much to me, because I'd tried everything to get Meet & Greet passes, and even though I didn't get to meet her, out of all the people in the MCI Center, she acknowledged me and took the time during her song to say that she loved my sign. If you don't believe it happened, that's fine, because I know it did, and no one's gonna take that away from me.
I'm also a
movie buff. When I'm not sick or have other plans, I go the movies almost every week, I own almost 300 DVDs, and I love even the most recent, to the oldest. Some of my favorite movies include
Rear Window,
Cruel Intentions, and anything by
Tim Burton &
John Waters. My favorite actress of
all-time is
Marilyn Monroe, she was beautiful and amazing. I was also born on her birthday so I love her even more for that fact haha. Some of my other favorite actresses are Christina Ricci, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Drew Barrymore, Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Coolidge, Jennifer Garner, Jennifer Aniston and so many more.
Although I don't watch as much TV as I used to,
Buffy The Vampire Slayer still remains
my show. If you don't like that, you can eat it for all I care. I started watching that show, first season, when I was in the 3rd grade and I've been a devoted fan ever since then. And although I still love
Friends,
The OC and
The King of Queens so much, Buffy will forever be
my show. As cheesy as it sounds it got me through some tough times and I actually got sent to the principal's office once for talking about Buffy so much (it was a private school, what can I say). I was devastated when it ended, but I'm still a devoted fan and the Buffyverse still lives on.
