Okay, so I would have commented on the other one where this belonged, but you deleted it, and you shouldn't have. Sal can fucking deal with it, I mean I love the kid but he whines way too much. To all the people that were defending sal, you know it's true. Did you even talk to him before he became salXsceneXcore? No, of course you didn't.

To be fair, I'm not saying I was angry.
I thought it was funny.
If you had IM'ed me and asked me to put it on here I'd have been cool with it.
But I'm not an example of a scenester.
I've dyed my hair once in my life about 1 year ago, my hair grows out in odd colors.
And my favorite kind of music is classical.

I dont go around making fun of ska kids.
I go to ska shows.
I love ska.

Dont make fun of my music either.

2. I don't care if you make fun of me for liking ska. I know, I love ska. I also like other music as well.
3. Why can't you just talk to me about this instead of avoiding it?

I know you and I were never really good friends, but you were just someone I would see and talk to sometimes. I don't want you to have some grudge against me, especially for something I didn't do. Your an awesome person Sal, and this whole mix up doesn't change what I think of you. Who ever made this thing about you is pathetic, although I found it funny at first. But now, with you thinking it was me, I don't find it too funny anymore.

I hope we can sort things out, and things can go back to normal soon.

EMO is the same all the time. Cry, cry, cry, stick in some Cadd9 and you have an EMO song, nothing to it. If you are pleased by simple rearrangements of words accompanied by crappy whiners then you truly are an educated person. I'm so glad that you've identified by declicing knowledge and made it clear.

Congradulations, I believe the three of you have just won the Most Stereotypical Award! You put in such a generalization of the music because thats what everyone thinks of it as. Emo = Emotional. You can show more emotions besides sadness and depression (just incase you didn't know).

It's not what everyone thinks of it, well it should be, but it's what the music truly is.

The only emotion I've ever seen exhibited in any type of EMO band is teen angst, depression, and self-pity.

I love how you say teen agnst when they band members are well out of their teens. Nothing about what you said was a fact. Not all songs are about cry cry my girlfriend broke up with me. You obviously haven't listened to a lot of emo bands because if you did youd realize that the subjects in their songs branch far from girlfriends. Stop thinking of Dashboard when you think of emo.

I said their songs are about teen angst, this doesn't mean they have to be teenagers, it means their songs are for teenagers. Sell outs.

I've listened to plenty of EMO, and even if you didn't break up with your girlfriend, I'm sure that rainy day will make you slit your wrists. :)

first off, why would i waste my time reading that long list of bullshit rantings of some jackass guy. no one cares. and again, you keep repeating that your opinion is fact. well you're just one self-centered asshole aren't you? "emo" was the stupid name given to some music. it happens to be incorrect, and stuck for some reason. and what makes you think that by EMOTIONAL it means depression, angst, and sadness? if someone was crying their eyes out, it most likely has a valid reason. granted, some people cry for no god damn reason. but generally, there is a good reason.
emotions: happiness, sadness, bliss, hurt, love, etc. so when you're being emotional, it can be more than just angst and depression, which seem to be underlying themes of your insignificant comments. if someone was to see someone being happy and say "they're being emotional," it wouldn't be incorrect. but nice job calling people who don't do exactly what you do "fuckheads." what a mature word. maybe you should be the one going back to third grade.
and yes, you do know why you took time to do this. because you wanted to. obviously you want the last word. and by bringing up the fact that you don't know why you took the time to respond to what you think is obviously bullshit, is just proof that you want nothing more than to do so. obviously you do "give up your time" because you've got plenty of comments on this entry, genius. oh and i'm sure you're going to go ahead and say "well than why are you taking your time to do it, you have no life." i just happened to be on the computer, and i take such god damn pleasure in annoying people.

I love emo. Emo does not stand for "Emotional". Emo is soft melodic hardcore. Not even nessesarily depressing. I can show you some really fucking happy emo. 2nd off, I love ska too! I think ska is great music, and I think the whole ska scene is nice. It's a family, everyone in it is cool to eachother. We should all be nice to the other kids too. I probly go to more emo shows than the emo girl, and more ska shows than the ska kid, but so fucking what? What does that mean. Nothing. I love the music, that's all you people should be concerned with.

I'm not taking it out on this journal. It's some kids that want to critisize, exersize their right to say what they want, and truth be told, I got a good laugh out of it. I didn't mind it untill someone told me it was Mel. Who I guess didn't do it. And for your info Mel, I didn't ignore you, I was playing drums, I didn't see the message.

I say, let these kids keep drawing, and stop making fun of one an other.
If you can't learn to laugh at yourself every now and again, what the fuck guys?
