BioI am happy, truly happy for the first time in my life. I have friends that I'd do anything for, a boyfriend I love more than Disney World (and if you know me, that means I love him more than anything), a family who supports me no matter what, and am going to school for something I love.
I can't wait to step out into the real world and be a "grownup" although I love regressing back into my childhood a little. I crave independence and ice cream constantly.
I suffer from emetophobia--want to know what that is? Just ask.
I constantly am dying to change my look, but am stuck just being me. My ultimate goal is to either have hot pink highlights in my hair, or resemble anyone from the 20's-50's. I love vintage fashion and sometimes feel stuck in the wrong decade. Perhaps I lived a past life then.
Accoding to my mother, I drink old people drinks and I love girly drinks like Mike's and Smirnoffs. I am a picky eater to the max, but am attempting to health-ify my life.
I get excited whenever a song from my childhood comes on the radio. "Walking in Memphis" by Marc Cohn reminds me of when my sister was a baby. "Band of Gold" by Freda Payne will always be my favorite song of all time.
My sister and I have never really gotten along, although lately I have been putting my best foot forward in order to be "cool" in her eyes. Her friends love me, now I'd just like her to love me too. Not to mention we're sharing a room for the next two years so she better get used to it.
I hate spending money. My mom covers my car insurance while I'm at school but come the summer, I owe her an enormous debt. It takes a lot out of me, and a lot of convincing, to actually buy something I like. I tend to stalk things at stores and hate buying things not on sale.
I love the beach, considering I've lived right near it my whole life. I boogieboard mostly, but am determined to learn to surf. I think I look prettiest with a tan.
I question everything, doubt everything, and worry CONSTANTLY. I guess it keeps things interesting.
Special Education is my calling in life. I've never been sure of anything like I have with this. I have more patience with the children I will eventually have to teach than I do with anyone else. I credit my first babysitting job, for Alyssa with this relevation and desire.
Music is another love of my life. It has played a huge role since day one and continues to. I am a big band nerd, and marched for 4 years in highschool and 2 in college. I miss my clarinet and miss performing more than you can imagine. I am always searching for new bands to listen to and love going to concerts.
I graduated third in my highschool class, top girl, and that is my largest bragging right. I am an overachiever, and strive for similar grades in college. Currently I have a 3.6, not to shabby huh?
And that's me, in a nutshell.
