Tutorial!  
Okay so I've been getting a LOT of requests for tutorials on my colouring techniques, so I thought I'd do a quick one. This is my first ever, so be patient!

Here is how to make this icon:

I'm sure there are a million tuts on how to get colouring like this, so I apologize if this is nothing new to you.

Beautiful icon you've made! I LOVE this, it's actually a really flexible tutorial, with a ton of results. Here's some of what I got:
