I will be gone from today (Wednesday) to Saturday to visit some family for Thanksgiving, so, you know. Try your best to survive without me.

Trip to Richmond - The Elliott Experience 10/8/06

So it's taken me about a week to put this together, but here we go. Richmond was amazing. The concert, the people, the scenery - everything. I went for Elliott, and fell in love with Virginia it seems. Anyway, here's the re-cap, pics, and vids.

Alright, so we left at 8 Sunday morning, and took a three and a half hour flight to Baltimore, as our plans were made somewhat last minute, and that flight was ennded up being the only one that would fit our budget and put us in Richmond in time for the concert. So we land in Baltimore, and the weather is so amazing, omg. Cool, and sunny, and COOL. And so not Texas-like. Anyway, so then it's time to pick up our car and drive another two and a half hours to Richmond, where we're staying. We didn't mind the drive at all though; it was beautiful, and we passed so many awesome things on the way. We originally planned to go through DC, but the night before
we'd be told that there was major construction causing major delays, and didn't want to risk it. So we took at detour, and still ended up being able to see the Capital Building from the bridge, and a ton of signs for other things like Quantico (FBI training center), Andrews Air Force Base (where Air Force One takes off from, and the Pentagon. Oh, and Dumfries, Manassas, a name which amused me quite thoroughly, because I'm immature like that.

Sup, unfocused. That's the Pennsylvania Ave exit, if you couldn't read it.

The Capital Building is that little thing with the pointy dome top in the middle.

Pretty sure that was the Quantico Triangle, but I couldn't really get a good picture for the trees.

Ahahaha. Ha.

Richmond!

The Virginia State sign. I missed it going it, so I had to turn around in the car and get it as we left. I got skillz.

So we got to Richmond about 3:30, checked in, went to go eat, and headed out towards the fair at about 5. Now, you would figure that and hour would be sufficient time to get you to a fair three miles away, but you would be wrong. Traffic was insane, and it took us the entire hour to 6 o'clock (when the concert was supposed to start) to get into the parking lot. Then we had to walk half a mile to the ampitheatre. At this point, as I'm sure you could guess, I'm basically freaking out. But we get in and get to our seats by about 6:10, and the show starts about 7 minutes later. Our seats weren't bad, but they were towards the back, so the pictures didn't come out all that spectacular. And the security was super tight, so I couldn't really get much closer to take pictures without being shooed back to my seat.

Anyway, Elliott came out soon enough, and the crowd was insane and he looked so good and happy to be home and doing what he loves. A minute later he eases into Bill Withers' "Use Me," and the voice - oh, The Voice was incredible. Smoother than smooth and stronger than ever. Nngh. I'm pretty sure I melted during that one.

My other two favorites were "Ready For Love" (by Bad Company) and "I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know" (by Donny Hathaway). God, both were so, so amazing. Guh. He also sang "Little Ghetto Boy," "I Believe to My Soul," which I also loved dearly, "You've Got a Friend," "Empty Arms," "What's Goin' On," and "Whipping Post" as an encore. And let me tell you, this white boy is a funky as they come. He was dancin' and groovin' the whole time, and it's quite possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen. Everything he did Sunday night just made me love him a little bit more.

LMBO was also very impressive, and they seem to share a mutual love with Elliott. One of the band members grabbed Elliott and hugged him from behind around the neck as they walked offstage. It was pretty darn adorable.

I wish I could give you more details, but honestly, I can't do justice to this man's voice, or his prescence, or how it felt just to be there in the same place with him and the amazing E-Train with words. I know that if you aren't an E-Trainer, you probably don't understand the feeling or reasoning we have for being so dedicated to him, but I can tell you that the concert experience was everything I could have asked for and more.

And now for was was probably the highlight, aside from, you know, being in the same vicinity as Elliott:

We met Mama Yamin! kfhgjhgjkh! Oh my God you guys. She is the cutest, sweetest thing ever, I swear. He shouted out to her and his brother earlier in the night, and I was hoping to meet her, and it just so happens that she was haning out afterwards talking to people and taking pictures and being wonderful and adorable in general. AND I TOTES GOT A HUG FROM MAMA YAMIN. Be jealous. I also saw his girlfriend, who came back every once in a while to talk to people and check up on the The Mama. She's very pretty. (I hate her. But, not really.)

After meeting Mama, we hung out for a bit, thinking we might get a chance to meet him (little did I know that that chance had come and gone around the time we were just landing in Baltimore), but to no avail. We then headed out, much to my reluctance, and that was that.

Sigh. So very worth the trip.

Now for the videos and audio. The video is pretty good quality, though he and LMBO appear rather small. You can still see him groove and hear him, though. Most are not full songs, as I did not know how long the set would last, and used my video space pretty cautiously.

So, I've officially seen the first half of The Closer and the first four eps of L&O: SVU season 2.

I must talk about The Closer. WHY AREN'T MORE PEOPLE WATCHING THIS SHOW. Freaking A, Kyra Sedgwick is amazing. And Pope/Brenda is awesome. And I could talk about this show a lot more, but I'll spare you for now. Point is, you should be watching this show if you aren't.

And SVU is slowly developing into my new tv love. Because it is seven years running and STILL kicking ass. (Take note, CSI writers.) And I'm going completely out of order, watching re-runs whenever I can and Netflix-ing through the second season, but I'll see them all eventually. And will probably be completely obsessed by the time that happens, so.

Anyway. Watch The Closer. Because Brenda Johnson is smarter than you. (F'real, she's like the VM of the LAPD.)

Okay, look. All I'm seeing lately is bitchbitchbitch and moanmoanmoan about how Meredith is all whiney and dramatic and blah blah blah.

Seriously. I mean, what, does she think the show's named after her or something?!

OH WAIT.

You guys, it's called GREY'S Anatomy. Not George's Anatomy. Not Izzie's Anatomy. Not even McDreamy's Anatomy, although I'm sure we wouldn't really have a big problem with that.

Grey's. Meredith's. That's what it's called. That's what it is.

We enter the show with Meredith's voice, we leave the show hearing Meredith's voice, we hear Mereith talk about McDreamy, we see Meredith's house, we watch Meredith at work, and most of the time the cases of the week are even connected to Meredith's issues. Because it's MEREDITH'S SHOW.

Okay, now that that's been cleared up...

As far as Meredith being a whiney drama queen, let's take a look at some of her current issues, shall we?

1. Mother with Alzheimer's.
2. In love with a man who has a wife he never bothered to even mention.
3. Is also constantly being pulled in different directions by said man's McDreaminess.
4. Eighty hour work-week. Sometimes more, I'm sure.

And if that wasn't enough, she just ALMOST GOT BLOWN UP. So, please stfu, thanks. And if you're tired of hearing me defend her, go listen to Shonda Rhimes do it. Thank you, Shonda. You 'da woman.

Honestly? I can't even put into words how much I absolutely loved this episode. I just... I mean, I just can't. This show is completely amazing. So I'll just do a bit of a recap of my favorite parts. Because, I can.

-The very first opening sequence, and Meredith's VO about The Great Beyond, the flash of her and Derek in the empty OR, in particular. Something about that image... the single tear, the emptiness, the silence. The way it was simple but haunting was something that stuck in my mind throughout the entire night.

-George's fantasy. HILARIOUS. I think a little part of me definitely died during that scene. And his FACE, that moodiness... absolutely perfect. And all three of the girls' love confessions were absolutely hilarious. Oh, George.

-BAILEY'S RETURN. I think I speak for Grey's fans everywhere when I say: Yes. Any Bailey is good Bailey, and George's hug was another one of T.R.'s perfectly hilarious moments.

-Addison. I have to say, Kate Walsh and her alter ego are growing on me disturbingly quickly. I think the fact that she's so good to Bailey was what finally won me over. And her telling Bailey about her husband? God. Heartbreaking much?

-Derek. The fact that he stayed with Bailey's husband, and when Tucker told him that Bailey really liked him... Oy. I want a McDreamy, plz. Oh, and the first-name-basis thing with Burke was adorable. Aw. Soften up, Preston.

-Alex being hot and screaming at Crazy!Wife. DUDE. Was I the only one that thought he was hot when he was screaming? Damn. Thank you, Justin.

-Burke handling the situation with grace. Burke has grown on my immensely this season, and his scenes with Hannah were fantastic. And the way his voice broke as he was telling Meredith about the "code black" was just... man.

-Christina Ricci. Just, amazing.

-And last, only because the best deserve it, ELLEN. FREAKING. POMPEO. You know, I remember a post a while ago in the GA community about not understanding why the show was called Grey's Anatomy when there were so many other characters that people liked just as well or even more than Meredith. Well this is why, ladies and gentlemen. Because Ellen can pull of scenes with just her eyes, and completely rip your heart out. Because that very last scene, as she's standing over that body looking small and vulnerable and everything else you don't want to be as you realize your hand is the only thing keeping an OR from exploding, made the entire damn episode. Because she's whiney and selfish and yet in moments like that you completely sympathize with her. I thought Ellen was absolutely perfect in this episode, and couldn't imagine having anyone else as Meredith Grey.

Figured I should go ahead and get this posted in case I explode from anticipation of next week's episode.

DH vs. GA vs. Lost

So, someone in the DH community just posted about how they were angry that DH got the shaft on Superbowl night, and how much better DH is that Grey's Anatomy. And someone else replied, saying they agreed and that GA is oh so boring.

And I kind of... LOL'd. In disbelief.

Personally, I think GA is having pretty much the best season on anything on TV right now. (VM is a close second.) But to me, DH and Lost have both been steadily losing their mojo this season. And Grey's just continues to set a new standard of OMGAMAZING every. freaking. week.

So. I don't know why, but that just kind of hit me, how DH and Lost basically created a whole new realm of hit television last year, and it feels like GA has completely blown them out of the water this season, when it was the one with the slow start.

I don't know. Maybe it's just me. And no offense the huge DH fans at all; I still like to tune in myself, simply because the actors have really taken their characters and turned them into something. I just, I guess I'm just super happy for GA getting the post-superbowl spot, because it really deserves it. (I really wish the DH fans would watch it, just for that one night. They'd fall in love.)

Annnnyway. VM tonight. was. AWESOME. And though I don't feel bad for Jackie, at all, really, I think tonight was the first hint that we've gotten that she actually has a soul. Who knew. (Rob, you dirty dog. You really love Tessa, don't you? Fine. I'll go along.)

But yeah, I really loved it. Will do some re-watching and a sort-of actual recap tomorrow.

Alright, so, this has needed to happen for a while now, and I think it's fantastic that something is actually getting off the ground. Teddy deserves some love, and I hope that you'll all participate in this, even if you aren't the biggest Teddy/Duncan fans, because the reaction at the Marsathon was seriously immature and embarrasing in general to the fandom and we need to let Teddy know that he does have fans, and that we do support him. You guys. I'm back. And let me just say, it was amazing. Last night was incredible. I laughed, I cried, I completely dorked out, and I loved every minute of it.

Now before I start squeeing and such, here's how I was planning on doing this. I want to make this post for two reasons: One, for all you awesomewonderful people who couldn't make it and deserved to be there (because really, last night was something that every VM fan should have a chance to experience), and two, because I want to have a sort of account of last night so I don't forget anything, so that I can look back on this and remember how much fun it was, because I'm just a nerd like that. I promised a detailed re-cap of the night, so that's what you're going to get. I'll divide it into sections, and everything will be public for a while. As far as the new episode goes, I'm not going to tell you what happens, because it was amazing and perfect and you need to see it for yourself. Because it was just that good. So. Here we go! :)

Arrival to introduction of the cast:
We got to the Drafthouse about 6:10, and were pretty much at the end of the line, which was out the door and down the stairs, because by that time, pretty much everyone was there. They started letting people in about 6:15, and everything was really organized, actually; we got inside about 10-15 minutes later, or so. They checked ID's and marked your name off the call list (I was kind of hoping for tickets, as sort of a souvenier, but no biggie), and didn't even check for cameras or phones. Which was good, because basically everyone had a camera. Anyway, we got in and grabbed two end seats on the thrid freakin' row, with perfect view of the cast and band and screen. They played clips of the most random stuff ever for about 40 minutes while the band set up and we all waited anxiously.

Pretty much right on time, the band (The Daylight Titans) starts to play a few minutes after 7:00, and about 2 songs in, me and my mom see someone from the Drafthouse come up and take one of the cast chairs off the stage, and we're kind of freaking out, because I'm thinking with my luck it will be Kristin or something. The band plays four more songs, one of which they dedicated to Lilly Kane, which was basically awesome, and I don't know about everyone else but at this point I'm really just dying to see some Veronica Mars. The Moment comes soon enough, though, and some guy from the Drafthouse comes out to introduce the cast, and he's just about as giddy as can be. He tells us to look around closely at the people were sitting by, and to remember this, because everthing in our lives up to this point has just been there to get us to this night, and everything after this point is just there so we can reflect on the complete awesomeness of this night. I'm silently agreeing. He then goes, "Okay, so, let me just be the first to say.... OH MY GOD. OH MY FREAKING GOD. OHHHHH MY GOD," and basically starts to fangirl, which gets everybody going and it was just, kind of hilarious and great. So then he tells us to feel free to stand up, because here comes Rob Thomas, Kristen Bell, and Jason Dohring, in the flesh. And of course everyone stands and freaks out because OH MY GOD, they're RIGHT. THERE. IN PERSON. And they were all so pretty and gorgeous and lovable, and then I realize, in the midst of all this complete freakin' awesomeness, there is a serious lack of Micheal Muhney, and I am sad, because I kind of love him alot. And so do many others. And it was sad. But then I look and KRISTENBELLOMG. And Rob is totally pimped out in a suit and Jason was sopretty. (Yeah, okay, IADMITIT.)

Rob's presentation of his favorite S1clips:
So Rob comes up starts to talk and he's so freaking adorable and I could just not get over how much he loves this show. He's basically the coolest guy ever. So anyway, he starts with the clips, and before every clip he talks about why he likes it and such, and now I'm going to attempt to remember the clips and what he said about them, which is going to be a little difficult, so if you guys remember something that I left out, please let me know.

The Pilot's Cold Open
There was apparently a pretty big battle between Rob and UPN over the cold open of the Pilot; he wanted to open up with her stakeout outside of the Camelot, to give it a noir effect, which was a really big part of the show for him, and they wanted it to open up with her at Neptune High, to give it more of a high school-ish feeling. He fought and fought for his version, and they fought for their's. (Now, here's the part I'm not really sure about, so if this is the wrong clip, please correct me.) He sent out his version, and they were pretty nervous about it, and told him they wanted a high school version, so he made a really intentionally bad cold open of her at Neptune High (complete with thoroughly clunky lines like, "...And that's when my private eye senses got the best of me...," which had us LOLing), and not only did they like that one better, but they sent it out for review. (Rob cringed at this point. And so did we.) Anyway, they won, but he did cut the "private eye senses" line out before it aired. The clip shown was the one with her outside of the Camelot, which Rob was really proud of. (He even choreographed the couple seen having sex through the curtain!)

Not That Girl Anymore
This was originally intended to be a lot longer (about twice as long as it turned out to be), but the fact that the heroine, the lead female, had been raped made UPN seriously nervous. So, they kept asking Rob to cut it down, and cut it down, and cut it down some more, and then take out the "Abel, it should have been her". (Which he was super proud of sneaking back into ATTTD.) Also, when she first wakes up in the bedroom and looks around, there was supposed to be a voice over, which he decided didn't really fit. It went something to the tune of, "This particular moment of my adolescence was not the most memorable. I didn't even know who I'd shared it with." Rob kept bragging about how amazing Kristen was is this scene, saying she cried on cue four times and everytime he was amazed, and Kristen told us it was because she's a robot. He also said that UPN didn't like the line, "I'm not that girl anymore," but he really wanted it in there. Hey, Rob knows best.

Lousy Conversation, But The Sex Was Fantastic
Rob basically just loved this clip, and, come on, who doesn't?

You Could Find Her If You Wanted To
So Veronica Mars made AFI's top ten list this year, and Rob and Kristen and everybody went to the ceremony. Rob told us that when each show is announced, they play a minute and thirty-second clip from the show, most of which were big, powerful, dramatic scenes, but the one for VM was where Veronica stood up for Mandy in "Hot Dogs," ("The World's Biggest Cockroach" scene) which was chosen by the people at AFI, not the show, which is who usually picks the clip. He said this is the one he would have picked, had he had the opportunity.

Never Underestimate The Size of My Cojones
Rob talked about line delivery, and just had to show this scene, saying he just loved how Jason delivered it. And so did the rest of us. Then the lights came back up, and Jason made a hilarious "that's right" kind of motion, and oh man I think I'm kind of in love with Jason now.

Annoy, Tiny Blonde One
Rob, still on the topic of line delivery, showed us this one next. We knew it was coming, and the best part was when Logan said "alpaca" and everyone screamed. It was the best. And my mom kind of looked at me funny, but whatever. By the end we were all going, "Annoy, tiny blonde one! Annoy like the wind!" And I'll just take this opportunity to say: Dude, nobody beats VM fans.

Ouch! You got me!
Still talking about line delivery (yes, he could talk forever and it was adorable), said that usually the script will have it in there how they want the line delievered, but this one didn't, and Francis totally went all Surfer!Weevil on his own.

The Kiss At The Camelot
Rob offered this one up as a gift, and while you all know I'm definitely not the biggest L/V fan, I do have to admit: the scene is hot.

It's Usually A Hint When They Run Away Like That
Well it looks like Rob is as big of a Logan/Weevil fan as the rest of the fandom, and decided to show this one, with the jacket grabbing and the closeness and everything else that made the audience squee. But then the lights came up and Rob walked back to the center of the stage and goes, "Hoyay!" And it was just the best. thing. ever.

I Have To Go Throw Up Now
Can't really remember what he said about this one, but it was great nonetheless, and really kind of reminded me why I love this show.

I Tried Not To, But It Won't Go Away
Rob started off by saying that ATTTD is probably the episode he's most proud of, and that this is one of his favorite scenes ever. He also stood up for Teddy, which kind of made me love him. He said that he reads the boards, and that a lot of people are really rough on Teddy, and he thinks that he's fantastic, and he loved how this scene was so raw and how Kristen and Teddy just really hit it out of the park. Right before the clip started to play, someone did yell "Teddy rocks!," and there was actually a response, which made me happyhappyhappy. Aw, Teddy!Love.

I Was Hoping It Would Be You
Ah, the infamous cliffhanger. Rob said they kind of had a hard time with this, trying to come up wiht a cliffhanger for the finale, because he wanted the Lilly Kane murder solved by the end of the season, but the network wanted some kind of cliffhanger. Diane Rugierro, one of the main writers for the show and whom Rob absolutely loves, didn't think the door thing would work, but Rob said he totally won that one. He also said that he had no idea who he wanted to be at the door, and Kristen kept asking who it was going to be so she could gauge her reaction and eyeline and stuff like that, and Kristen said that they have this guy on set they call Coyote, because he wears this coyote mask and runs around handing out incense and stuff (this seriously made me LOL), and "Everytime single time he was at the damn door!" Dude, best ever.

Q&A with Rob, Kristen, and Jason:
So after the clips came the Q&A, and I really wish I could have thought of something to ask, but my brain was still kind of in shock with all of this, and I didn't. Oh well. Um. There's no way I'm going to remember all this, but I'll try to remember what I can. Rob went sort of off topic alot, so I'll just put the funny/interesting stuff. Not that it wasn't all interesting, but, you get the idea.

-Someone brought up the fact that his old band was named Hey Zues, and the whole Neptune and Mars thing, and asked if he just had a thing with mythology or if it was coincidence. He kept saying it was coincidence, that he only named it Neptune, CA because it was the opposite of Jupiter, FL, and the whole time Kristen is sitting there shaking her head we're cracking up, and finally Rob looks at someone in the corner and goes, "What?! Do you guys not believe me or something?" and they all start laughing and point at Kristen, and he looks at her and she goes all innocent, and he sighs, and she takes Jason's mic and goes, "He told me the exact same thing. I'm not buying it."

-He started talking about scripts, and brought up how he's writing a script for the re-make of some movie, about a murder mystery on a boat, and he'd written potential parts for Kristen and Jason, and wanted to give us a little bit of dialogue from their characters: "Okay, so Jason walks in and Kristen is laying naked on his bed-" which was interrupted with many a hoot and holler, and wide eyes from Kristen, "-and she goes,'I've learned a lot of tricks since college,'" and we're all pretty much dying at this point, and Kristen's still like WHAT and he goes, "and then Jason goes,'Well, I hope one of them's how to roll over,'" and omg we're seriously dead by now and that's all I can remember because Kristen is still looking at Rob like WHAT and I'm laughing too hard. And I love Rob omg.

-Rob was talking about how everyone was all hardcore morals when Veronica was stuck between Leo and Logan, and how everyone kept saying it was so wrong that she was with two guys or whatever, to which Kristen said, "Veronica can have as many boyfriends as she wants, okay?" And then he went on to talk about how pretty much the whole fandom is all DIEJACKIEDIE and was like, "Man, I mean, you guys want her like, nailed to a cross, set on fire, and thrown into the lake!" And we basically agreed and it was pretty great.

-Someone asked if Kristen/Veronica would ever be singing on the show again, and he said that it's not really likely at this point, but if the time ever comes, he's definitely not opposed to it.

-Oh! And someone brought up the whole "If the cuddling was the best part..." thing making it sound like Duncan wasn't good in bed, and Rob said that really wasn't the intention, it just kind of ending up sounding like that, and that he just kind of imagined that it was more sweet, highschool sex, which people kind of laughed/groaned at, and Kristen goes, "Hey! It could happen! Not everything has to be dirty, you PERVS!" lmfao. It was the best. Kristen is hilarious.

That's kind of all I can remember at the moment (the brain is still kind of fried), but if I'm sure I'll be adding to this post over the next few days.

The Episode Premiere:
Alright, so, like I said above: I'm not going to spoil anyone. It was a fantastic episode, and even if you've read the spoilers that are floating around everywhere, you don't even know the half of it. It's a crazy episode, and a fantastic directorial debut from Rob Thomas, and I loveloveloved it. Wednesday is only a week away, so please don't spoil yourselves. The temptation is there, I know, but it really is worth the wait, and more than makes up for "One Angry Veronica."

And now the part you've been waiting for! Just, kind of, ignore me being in the way of some of them, k?

Yeah, so, I promised myself before hand that I wouldn't dork out, and well, I lied. Um. Yeah, I was fine until I got up there, and then I saw them and Kristen was right there and I went totally. lame.

Kristen: Hi! What's your name?
Me: Hi, um, it's Jennifer. I um, I can't really talk right now, but uh, I just wanted to say that the show is amazing and you're amazing and yeah.
Kristen: Aw, thank you! It's fans like you that make the show what it is and make what we do so much fun!
Me: *big dorky smile*

Yeah, I couldn't even care less that she probably said that to everyone because OMFG. I TALKED. TO KRISTEN. BELL. OMGOMGOMG. And was so dorky up there and she was totally sweet to everyone and I love her.

And then I went to Rob, and he was so giddy and talky and I'm going to have to blank some of this out because I did talk about the episode, so yeah.

Rob: Hey!
Me: Hi! I just, I wanted to thank you for the show and tell you that that episode was amazing, and that you should definitely direct more. Because I read the spoilers, and I absolutely love _____, and I knew ______ was _______, and I couldn't even be mad about it, because the episode was so amazing.
Rob: Oh, well thank you so much! Yeah, I loved directing, and it's kind of hard to direct in the middle of the season (I don't exactly remember why, because at this point I was just kind of trying to keep breathing), but I would definitely love to try to direct again towards the end of the season, maybe episode 21 or 22, you know?
Me: Yeah, thanks, thank you again.

sakjghdjkshdgkj I LOVE THIS MAN. You guys, Rob is the coolest guy ever. You're just going to have to take my word on this.

And then I got to Jason. And he is the sweetest, prettiest, most adorable thing ever.

Jason: Hey!
Me: Hi! I uh, just, make it out to Jennifer, please.
Jason: Oh, yeah, cool.
Me: So I just wanted to tell you that you're amazing on the show and thank you so much for coming out here and doing this.
Jason: Oh, no problem! Thank you! So where are you guys from? Here?
Me: Oh, no, Houston.
Jason: Oh really? That's cool. Well thank you, thanks for coming out!
Me: Thank you!
Jason: Bye!

And then he gave us the cutest wave and omg. I was ded, you guys. And I'm pretty sure I want to marry them all. It was seriously in the top 5 nights of my life. And then I got outside and I was still shaking and it was the best nervousness ever, I swear.

Oh, and Logan/Veronica & Kristen/Jason fans will be happy to know that they were so cute together and kept whispering to each other and smiling and he was rubbing her arm, and yes, they were adorable. So there you go. Feel free to squee.

And I saw Jason's wife! She was off to side, at the signing, and there was always someone over there talking to her, so she definitely wasn't lonely.

Oh yeah, and I was standing in the line to go to the bathroom with Kristen like FOUR PEOPLE BEHIND ME. And I walked right by her when I left. And I'm a total and complete dork, I know, but dude. KRISTEN BELL.

And now I am exhausted from typing this monstrous thing but I hope you enjoyed it, and I hope that if you couldn't make it that this post helped cheer you up at least a little bit. For those of you who were lucky enough to go, I hope you had a wonderful time (how could you not?) and I want stories and pictures ASAP!
