A ring of maddness Half expected the ground beneath my feet to buckle and give way, Dropping me into an earthly grave. Suffering hysterics Slipped into the shadowed house Diarmuid. It reached a point when a mother's love was not enough I fell into a dark state. We often say words we do not comprehend I will relish the moment of your death From behind these prison walls Wondering what held me suspended Staring off at nothingness Now merely a blackened square upon the earth. I turned away only to see the corpses of those deserving. Wash the smell of death away, wash away the soot, and the grime, and the bitter memory of betrayal 'Twas unforgivable, the way they commited crime with abandon I fell into deep darkness Death, destruction, and misery. |
