So, Iron Man was good, and Forgetting Sarah Marshall was funnier than I had expected it to be (but my expectations were low so that doesn't say much). Superbad > Any other Apatow movie. Anyway, everbody seems to be loving on Iron Man currently. I think it's more hyped now that it's out, than before it was released. I hadn't even heard of any Iron Man hype (except from the obvious, Fran - biggest Iron Man comic/now movie geek), so I just think it exceeded expectations that it didn't really have. I know I wouldn't have paid attention, or really heard of it if it weren't for Fran. I just hope people aren't overly hyping The Dark Knight, because I want it to be as awesome as everyone says it will be. ...WHICH IT WILL. But yeah, Iron Man was awesome, go see.

TV has been okay. Still missing Supernatural. Please be returning to ITV2 soon, thanks. And because Supernatural isn't on tonight (for the second week in a row), I AM GOING TO WATCH LOST INSTEAD. YEAH, TAKE THAT. I haven't watched it since (4x05) The Constant, but something tells me even if I had caught up on all of season 4, I'd still be confused.

1. Screen cap your desktop.
2. Post it to your blog. Give explanation of desktop if you can be bothered.
3. Tag five people.

Beautiful. Let's see, does it need an explanation? Who needs a wallpaper when you can simply have the same image tiled. Oh yeah, still rocking Windows XP because I have yet to get a new computer. Also, not tagging, just do it.

Fact: I hate computers. Wait, no. I hate being indecisive. About computers, though. It goes to show that I really do not listen to the mother. I don't even pick up the important words.

Mother: Blah, blah ...Do you want to see it?
Me: See what?
Mother: The computer.
Me: ...What computer?
Mother: The computer that needs to be taken back*, it came a few days ago.
Me: What? Why didn't you tell me a few days ago? There's a computer here? A new computer, and it's been here for days, and I didn't know?

*I ordered a computer. Decided I liked another one better. Have to wait for guys to pick up first ordered computer.

So, seemingly she did tell me that the new computer had arrived a few days ago.

Well, I have now decided that I want another computer. This one is better, I swear. I hate onboard graphics, I really do. I've never had onboard graphics, but with a fiery passion, I hate them.

I think I should order it, but I just want a new computer now. Patience is a virtue, I know, but I've had this computer too long, and it doesn't even have any sentimental value for me. I just want to go through to the room, and rip open the box, and install the new computer. This is worse than Christmas Eve (if Christmas Eve excited me). The computer wasn't supposed to be here for two weeks, and it came a few days ago, and I ordered it a few days ago! They're toying with me, which isn't appreciated.

On another topic, after it came/was supposed to come out in April/July, practically a year later, I have watched Death Proof. Yeah, it was good. Not as gory as a Tarantino film should be (though, as a standard for him, a leg did come off), but it was good. Though I kind've felt they gave up the 'old' feel it was supposed to have, halfway through the movie. Maybe it would've bothered people. It wouldn't have bothered me.

I can never think of what 'mood' to put when I update entries, and now I'm three. Indecisive ( - they don't even have that mood) about the computer, aggravated by having to make choices and wait for my computer, and sore. My neck hurts everytime I turn to my right, which the mother says it is because I sleep on the sofa. Sure I have a nice, comfy, huge double bed to myself, but nothing beats falling asleep to Cops and Water Rats on FX.

Well, time for Doctor Who, and The Office was better this week than last.

Well, it's March, and this may be a glorious month. Already has it started with a<s>n insane</s> great weekend. I didn't see as much at the cinema as I had expected. Margot at the Wedding is what I did see, though. It was good, I thought. Unusual, or 'weird' as Danny had put it. We had hoped to see There Will Be Blood again, but never got round to it, and the thought of The Accidental Husband still makes me cringe, so I'm not sure if I have the strength to see it for Jeffrey Dean Morgan. What I will have the strength for, which is included in my list of Why-March-Will-Be-Glorious list, WEMBLEY AT THE VUE. IT'S SHOWING IN EDINBURGH. I didn't see that coming. As well as that, more shows are starting up their new seasons here, at long last. Nip/Tuck and Dexter, and according to rumours, so will House.

RANDOM:

- I have a prelim 4 days. I didn't know this until yesterday. Not so glorious.
- 2 months, 22 days until I see David Tennant in Hamlet, and that I miss the release of The Dark Knight.
- On that Brain Training game, I got my age from 58 (HA - 20 is the best), to 25 in 3 days.
- "An Irish stalker, who dresses in military gear and leaves gifts bearing 'cryptic messages', is said to be tormenting the lead singer of an international rock band." HAHAHA. He's sure going the right way about it to get Matt's attention.
- It started snowing for (no exaggeration) less than a minute about half an hour ago.

As always, I start typing then forget everything I was going to say.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY prettybutt!

I wasn't being stupid, it wasn't in an obvious place. My Xbox 360 packaging box? Eh? I truly am slow at watching the series. I bought it sometime last year (I think), and I'm only just watching it the second time round, and for some reason, it takes me an age to watch the whole of that season. I started watching it when I bought it, and I didn't finish it until past when season 3 started to air here.

I have a new layout! I still need a header. Can't have layout without header. I was thinking about conjoining all my interests into one header.

Danny is coming round today, and I don't know what we're going to get up to. Probably see My Blueberry Nights. I haven't heard anything great about it (except the fact that Jude Law is in it). My piano teacher said it was good yet slow (and I hate slow), and if I remember correctly, _giulietta_ said the co-stars were better than Norah Jones, and the cinematography was good.

Talk of films, I saw The Bucket List and Be Kind, Rewind last week. The Bucket List wasn't bad. It wasn't sad or depressing despite being about death, and kind of makes you think. Be Kind, Rewind was cute. It was more of a family movie, but their attempts of low (to no) budget movie-making were definitely accurate.

This week, I'll probably be seeing Margot at the Wedding, although I don't know what I'm expecting from it, and The Accidental Husband. ...Yeah. It doesn't look great, I don't really like comedies like that, but goddamnit, it has Jeffrey Dean Morgan, so I can't say no. At least he'll keep me entertained. Especially if anything happens like what happened in P.S. I Love You. There's a chance we'll see There Will Be Blood again. It's an excellent movie, Daniel Day Lewis is great in it, and... it's absolutely CRAZY. I definitely loved it, though it's 2 1/2 hours long. Oh, and I'm seeing Rambo with Vicky on Monday night, seeing as we've never seen anything except 18s together. Just keeping the traditon alive.

This weekend I was going to either buy the Juno soundtrack, or maybe [girly] some clothes [/girly], because I never buy clothes. Yet, the thing is, the mother keeps tipping off about Mother's Day. Well, actually, shoves it in my face. "Look at these flowers you can get for Mother's Day! They're cheap as well," and all that. Confession: I never ever bought her Mother's Day things. I know, I'm the worst child ever. She's never been mad/upset or anything about it, I just never have bought her anything. So, now I kind of think I will/have to buy her something.

Wow, long entry. To top it off, I love season 3 of Supernatural so far, and Lost season 4. It's gone back to being insane.

AHH, IT'S FINALLY OVER. I'll probably still be excited about it tomorrow, which means, BEST VALENTINE'S DAY EVER?

So, because I was going to Dundee today, and get the 8am train, I should have slept earlier. I didn't. Got 3 hours of sleep. Woke up at 6am, and left at 7:15am, and got the bus/ran to Fran's house. Of course, I felt like passing out after running, and we missed the train, so we couldn't go to Dundee.

Stuff about Supernatural:

Finally getting round to season 2. Only a year and something late. Jeffrey Dean Morgan just got engaged. Because I didn't go to Dundee, I had money to spend - yet Forbidden Planet doesn't have the Supernatural magazine in? Curses.

Stuff about other shows:

"On Fox’s “House,” for example, the planned story arc for the second half of the season “is pretty much being thrown out,” David Shore, the show’s executive producer, said. “We have to see how much we can salvage.”"

I hope it goes in a completely different direction from anything they had planned if it was going to be like what people were saying about the first half of that season. Needs less new team.

--

I have only ever watched two episodes of Life On Mars, and Gene Hunt is probably my favourite character - I should watch Ashes to Ashes: Y/N?

--

I totally need a new layout, and a new header.
The weekend was good. Danny and I have gotten into habit to see a movie at the cinema every day. We didn't get up to much. I bought Knocked Up, which... I still don't like that much. I should've bought a Gameboy Advance. Yes, I am living in 2003. I might buy one at the weekend. I dreamt about having one last night.
It was a pretty good weekend.

Went to the cinema with Dan, saw Cloverfield, No Country for Old Men and Juno.

Cloverfield was fantastic, as expected. No Country for Old Men was different from the expectations I didn't have. Juno was brilliant, as somewhat expected. Michael Cera = cutest kid alive.

I bought Superbad on DVD, 2-disk edition. I've watched it twice so far, and have yet to watch the bonus disk. I don't know what to buy next week. Either Knocked Up, or... something.

I got the tickets to see Hamlet (DAVID TENNANT - YAY) in England.

I got the tickets ordered to see Love's Labour Lost (DAVID TENNANT - YAY) in England.

So yeah, totally good weekend.

Although, I didn't see Lost on Sunday for two reasons. Well one, kind of. Sky broke down for the second time, so I couldn't watch it on Sky One. Kind-of reason two: It airs at the same time as Supernatural. Fail. Even though Supernatural airs two hours later as a repeat, currently Supernatural > Lost.

So, New Year's I was at Danny's, and we didn't do much. Play monopoly, draw pictures of animals (cool: *plummets*), and watch Kill Bill and The Godfather (cool: *somewhat restores*). As ever, I haven't been up to much since then.

For English, we have to choose a book to write an essay on. A BOOK OF OUR CHOICE! Which is great, because the things that school makes us read are horrible. So, because I've watched the movie American Psycho numerous, numerous times, I decide to buy the book and use that. If I had known that the book was going to be worse in terms of sex and violence, maybe I would have thought otherwise. Patrick Bateman, the main character, just won't stop thinking of sex and murder. Oh, and it's graphic. Like, when he describes his favourite horror and porn movies. How do I construct an appropriate English essay out of that? Oh well. I'm 160 pages in, there's no stopping now.

There was a huge list of books they recommended for this, and one of the recommendations was by Paul Theroux. I so should have picked that, because...

PAUL THEROUX, father of, LOUIS THEROUX, cousin on, JUSTIN THEROUX (<3), who is in HYSTERIA, by MUSE.

Yeah. Kind of sad for knowing/thinking that.

Oh, and Louis Theroux is fearless, I've concluded. All these documentries he does on nazis, inmates... Yeah. Pretty scary when you watch them.

SUPERNATURAL SEASON 3! Starting on Sunday! I've told the mother to buy me season 2 before Sunday, and I think I'm likely to get it tomorrow. Even though, Superbad and Disturbia came out on dvd this week, and I want all of them too... and Death Proof. So many DVDs, so little money.
I also need Lost Season 3 before February. AHH. NOT ENOUGH TIME.

On a complete random note; I need more Zach Quinto as Spock pictures.

It was hopefully going to get delivered by the 25th, but obviously didn't, so it should be coming tomorrow.

I got a bunch of stuff. House Season 3, Transformers Two-Disk Special Dvd (I don't have to justify how cool I am), a lot of clothes and chocolate, and... well other stuff. Hairspray (the movie), The Green Mile, Jackass 2 and a Muse calander from Danny. So, yeah. The more expensive stuff is coming later on. The Xbox, tickets to see Hamlet and Love's Labour Lost (the two plays that David Tennant is starring in), and swing classes. Again. Don't have to justify.

I went to China China yesterday, and saw Enchanted again. Usually we go to China China on Christmas Day, but... I don't know. We went yesterday. For me, I ate loads. I don't usually. A total of 12 spring rolls. That's a record.

The best Christmas present was seeing this picture of James Marsden a few days ago:

So, it's 20th December, and I still haven't decided what I want for Christmas. Not a 'should I get this, or this?' decision, but a 'what should I get at all?' decision. Danny has tried to help me decided, and told me to get an XBox 360. Not the biggest gamer ever, but an XBox would be cool, if only for the XBox Live feature. I figured I'd get an XBox, and play everything but Guitar Hero on it, seeing as I already have a guitar for the ps2, and yet my ps2 is fucked for every game that isn't Guitar Hero 2... and the mother says no. Which, I didn't really care about, because I don't know. I don't want an XBox that bad. Until I started reading about it on Wikipedia. Damn you, Wikipedia. Then, I read:

The "Game with Fame" initiative has been Microsoft's way to connect their gamers with celebrities. In this program, players can play online with or against famous groups or individuals for a limited period of time. Some of the recent participants have been Velvet Revolver, Megadeth, Quietdrive, Shia LaBeouf, Jack Black and Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

Shiaaa. Playing XBox 360 Live. See aboveee. Now, I want. I know, pathetic.

So, I plan on harrassing the mother into a yes when she gets home, ALTHOUGH, just as I started updating lj, I got a phone call saying that they can't fix the laptop under the warranty, because I spilt stuff on it, and it costs £600 to fix it or something. Great. So, what are the chances of getting an XBox now? Why did I have to pick up the phone? I never pick up the phone, but I had to this time.

Anyway, last night I saw Enchanted (James Marsden <333), and it was good, and anything with James Marsden singing makes anything better.

And on Saturday, I'm going Christmas shopping in Glasgow. Saturday, 22nd of December. The... eve of the eve of Christmas eve? Not to finish up shopping either. To do full blown Christmas shopping. Which might have been done by now if it wasn't for my exam that I had last Saturday. I live an hour away from the school, and I had to wake up. At 7am. On a Saturday. With about a good four hours of sleep, too. Needless to say, the exam didn't go well. Well, the second part didn't, though I get to resit it if I've failed.

What is your favorite place in the world?
Favourite place in the world, eh. I really don't know. I don't think I have a favourite place. Well, the only places I've been on holiday is France, Norway and England, and I like all three of those. I like going to Glasgow with money - but when does that ever happen?
2. Favorite kind of weather?
Give me any kind of weather, and I'll probably complain about it (yet still complain at people when they complain about it). Rain is fun, but only if it starts raining when I'm already outside.
3. Favorite piece of music?
Anything by Muse, really. Not that you didn't already know that. You say 'piece', and I think of classical music. So, anything with a piano.
4. Best achievement ever?
Hmm. What have I achieved? Not much. British Tae Kwon Do trophy for light-weight girls or something like that? 'Sprobably all that I've really achieved. Okay, currently it is managing to write essays on a book on - not only what I haven't read, but can't find at the moment either.
5. Favorite fictional character
I can't choose one. There's so many. They change all the time too. It usually depends on the last thing I watch. I'll watch Heroes, and be like, "YAY SYLAR BEST CHARACTER EVER YAY", then Supernatural, and I'll be all over all the Winchesters. Well, last things I watched were Dexter and Groundshog Day. I definitely like Bill Murray, and that movie. As for Dexter, I always find insane geniuses (genui?) the best, more interesting characters. So, yeah. At the moment, Dexter. Give me a genius, I will give them love.

Dane Cook maybe because he reminds me of Michael C Hall. Hell yes to whoever put Robert Downey Jr on the list.

34 out of 256 being a definite yes?
A week has passed, and I still have this godawful cold. I've finished many a box of different painkillers, along with various other things, and have now got two new boxes. BRING IT ON.

I went into town yesterday around 10am, to look for random stuff for Halloween. I'm going (and when I say 'going', I mean... going nowhere. Sitting in a crap "costume" watching tv, and probably eating Halloween related cupcakes) as Sylar. I spent the whole of the weekend trying to find, imo, the most COMMON OF CLOTHES, and couldn't find anything. ANYWHERE. It pretty much consists of: a Ramone's t-shirt from Run!, which was nowhere to be found, although I eventually found one in a large. I didn't buy it. Jeans. No, I don't own one pair of jeans. Preferrably black jeans at that. And a black cap. You'd think it would be easy to find a plain black cap. Though, I finally found one yesterday! One down! I feel pretty goddamn evil when I put that cap on.

I've started watching Casanova with David Tennant in it. It's brilliant. I want to watch the rest, but, again, I've exceeded my download limit. Fail.
Oh, and on the topic of David Tennant, the mother said she'd get me tickets for the two plays that he's performing in England. Super win.

That's right, I finally have broadband.

Yet still nothing interesting happened in that internetless month (which is a life long time in me-years).

I probably should have done something productive with my time, I just gave the TV the attention it needs.

Grohl said they're coming back in November to play indoor stuff. So, hur-fucking-rah, cause they were great. He started with Everlong, and then, then, then! They played Monkey Wrench. Which was amazing. I've always wanted to hear it live, and see how he manages the 'one last thing before I quit...' part of the song live, and when he got to that part, he stopped singing, and everyone else sang it (running out of breathe fairly fast as well - I'm pretty sure Grohl laughed), I still can't sing it all, but nevertheless, I tried. He then went on to say that he's got to sing it alone, and that he needed to warm up his voice, so he made us sing these weird noises, which was amusing, and boy can that man sing high (I seem to be attracted to that sort of thing, though). Then he sang, and managed it perfectly. He played the best set, which consisted of; Everlong, Monkey Wrench, Breakout, My Hero, The One, DOA (so happy about hearing that) Learn to Fly, Times Like These, Best of You, and a bunch of songs I can't remember.

I wore my Superman t-shirt, which resulted in many "Superwoman/girl" comments, and also had several conversations with this one drunk. So, all in all, 'twas amazing.
