Finally a picture update~!!!

(Long story behind "Satan Claus"; since the hat's trim is black instead of the traditional white, since the day I got it, I've called it the Satan Claus hat! Since if you rearrange "Santa" it spells "Satan", I thought it would be amusing.)

As I mentioned earlier, my cat Ginseng loves to burrow beneath my blankets. And everything else.

Aaand my other kitty Charlotte, <3 she's such a model kitty.

So about the whole "being single sucks" thing; as much as it does, I realised today, I'm still young, I have many, many years ahead of me to find the perfect one. As the quote goes "There's other fish in the sea"; well, I've took it a little further. I'm stuck in the fishtank that is Gainesville, in the aquarium that is Florida, in the ocean that is the United States, and the world is the sea. It makes me even more anxious to graduate and go to Japan! :D

So close to Christmas...so excited...T_T I simply cannot wait to give out presents on Friday and goodies on Thursday-!!

Hot damn, I'm rather frustrated at the direction my school life is going as of now; for the new friends I've made, it almost feels like other ones are being stolen from me. As selfish as that sounds, I didn't ask for new friends, as much as I love them, and I'd like to keep my older ones! I just hope they don't do anything stupid. Please don't do anything stupid, guys. Because I feel the need to 'protect' my friends from these stupid things, and if you do stupid things, then I will feel that it's my fault.
And yes, being single sucks. It always has and it still does.

But for those things in reality, this lovely dream world of mine can sweep me away in no time! Iceman videos bring me a bliss that is unexplainable. As I've said many times this weekend, "I'd give ANYTHING to see them perform live together; I'd pawn off my entire body save my ears and eyes just so I could see and hear them live." I love those three men like no other. I manage to get teary-eyed every time I watch a live. I'm going to blow all of my Christmas money on their CDs, I know it. I tell myself I'm going to just get a couple CDs, DVDs and/or singles, but I know I'm going to blow it all! It's just too hard to turn down, especially when they're so hard to get.

We got our Christmas tree!! I was so excited, but unfortunately, my sickness made it hard for me to enjoy the decorating; I was exhausted about halfway through putting up ornaments and just let my mom finish.
But a majority of my presents are wrapped and ready to give out on Friday, and the cookies and fudge are eager to be neatly tied into those little gift bags and handed to all of my friends. I'm very excited!!

From Thursday when I stayed home sick, and today, my mommy and I watched two movies! :D
The Pacifier : Crazy funny movie with Vin Diesel; it was a lot better than I expected it to be. Funny as hell because Robert from Everybody Loves Raymond played the asshole vice principal...I liked it.
And Fantastic Four : Not as good as I expected it to be. :( Not enough action for a Marvel superhero movie, and the last 30 minutes was the best part of the movie. Human Torch owned, though.

Shopping didn't go as well as planned...all I ended up buying at the mall was a rainbow-striped tie. But it kicks ass. I'm glad I splurged for it, since I had like $100 anyway. We went to Wal-Mart afterwards and I got my mother's food processor and a bunch of random candy stuff for friends; Rachel was taking so long looking for a present for Nick that my mom got really angry out of impatience because we had to go to K-Mart afterwards as well. I was the only one who bought anything, actually.
I also bought the cosplay!Vivienne necklace I wanted to get for Emma, which ended up being only around $10 including shipping! Kicks ass. :D I'm so so so excited for Christmas. I still have about $25 left so I'll probably be able to pay for the Daisuke CD I "won" from Lala-chan a lot earlier than I expected, and then still get all the Christmas card money to spend on the Iceman CDs and stuff.
On Friday...I got my usual fried chicken + spicey fries meal, only to find...

Oooh...I really don't like when people say some things that just make you wanna stand up and punch 'em, y'know? :D Unfortunately the person who did that exact thing was probably carrying a knife and would stab me front and center if I even said anything. I seriously wanted to punch Chris (the same guy who pulled a knife on Adam at my party) for saying some of the things he did today. I may be overreacting because I've only known Kevin (aka cute Asian boy) for a couple days, but he doesn't deserve treatment like that. It offended me. And what's Chris doing at our school anyway?

We got progress reports and as I expected I have an F in Geometry. D: There's an 100-point test tomorrow which I need to ACE to bring up my grade. Again this brings me to the questions, "Why is it only the classes that I DON'T need extra credit in are the ones that offer it? Why can't I transfer over some of my grade from Environmental Science or English and apply it to Geometry?! WHAT IS THE POINT OF GEOMETRY IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?!?!11"

I love how every time I meet a person that I JUST MAY find myself attaracted to, I try to act SO DAMN MASCULINE AND COOL. Bah! Damn you, pride. TWICE IN ONE DAY, TOO. Thanksgiving was so fun! Woke up early enough to catch a little of the Macy's parade, giggled when I saw the Puffy AmiYumi float, and then we were off to grandmother's house. We were also celebrating my grandpa's 75th birthday, for which the day was full of fun; Aunt Diane got him a LEG LAMP (ala A Christmas Story...our family adores that movie!) which she had a "telegram" sent, and then the package came with an explanation of the "award" (if you see the movie you'll know what I'm talking about :O) and about an hours' worth of sitting around it and laughing. The next day we moved it into the living room by the front window for the whole neighborhood to see...to grandma's dismay. GOOD TIMES.

After relaxing the rest of Friday upon our return, saturday and sunday was spent decorating our house for Christmas. :) We seem to have sprung a war with our across-the-street neighbors to WHO CAN OUT-LIGHT WHO >:( We'll so prevail. And yeah. I caught my mom shopping again...AGAIN. The coat that I reallyreallyreally wanted, a Samurai Champloo wallscroll, the star necklace I wanted and the pajamas...at this rate nothing I get will be a surprise. XD what a terrible ninja she would be!

"The Ninja Who Saved Christmas" was a SUCCESSSS. after nearly throwing my mother's computer out the window for it's video and audio skipping in Premiere, i FINALLY FINISHED EDITING IT and it turned out great. i am proud. especially the breakdancing part...maybe just because Iceman is playing. :O i doubt i will EVER do stop-animation again, though. D: too much frustration and annoyance.

i have been very stressed and depressed lately which i only post in my xanga since it doesn't concern many people on here. i'm in a very "blah" state of mind at the moment after realising what a wasteful day today was, but hopefully tomorrow will be much better!
spent the morning watching shaman king disc 2, one of the two discs of the 9-disc set i bought last month on ebay...and took about a month to get here. D: ah, but at least the subtitles are good, unlike a majority of anime that ships from hong kong. makes me wish funimation had dubbed shaman king, because they'd actually release uncut DVDs! bastard 4kids.
the rest of the day until 5 PM was spent editing my stop animation movie for TV Production, "The Ninja Who Saved Christmas". i have most of the animation editing done, and tomorrow i get to do many silly voices...with a terribly sore throat! oh, yay! i'm going to have larangitus at thanksgiving, but i can't procrastinate on that damn movie any longer.

one of those long, really drawn-out entries that really have no point to them.
i found a whale on friday. i named him wail [WHY-EEL]. i lost wail...i miss you, wail.
my movie in tv production is going to totally own. THE NINJA WHO SAVED CHRISTMAS...coming soon to tv production classes near you! haha, i should probably start filming it. @_@ so lazy, i am!
nick came over yesterday, we watched fruits basket. :) great anime. thor hates him. thor hates everybody...especially black people, it's sad. my dog is a racist.
we got a freaking christmas tree for my room! it's so pretty. it has multicolored lights that came with it, and i got to pick out some other stuff for it -- red and white striped "candy cane" garland, pink glass ball ornaments, a silver sparkly snowflake topper, and a silver shiney tree skirt. i love my little tree! i also put up some garland above my closet and shelf...i'm SO ready for christmas, maybe too ready...if there is such a thing.
i already planned out what i'm getting for everyone, and when i'm going to get it, and how much money i should have between now and christmas break. :D
i wish i had a kotatsu!!! kotatsu are japanese tables (yes, where you sit on your knees) with a thick blanket around the edges and a heater underneath it. my dream is on a cold winter night (i also wish we had those in florida...-tear.-) to sit under a kotatsu with a bowl of ramen watching love hina. right by my christmas tree. ah, how happy i would be. i should ask my mom for a kotatsu for christmas! it would be very handy. too bad they're about $460. i'd have to buy set of pillows and tatami mats, too...oh my. i still want a kotatsu!!!

and i was right! i got a nice new black'n'red spaghetti-strap shirt, a pink w/ snowflakes bathrobe, a nice fuzzy black earflap hat, a pink-purple-and-black sparkly striped scarf and matching gloves.
i need to think up a term that matches "gaijin smash" for a situation like this, because i totally feel like that right now.

and then we went to penny's and i got a new puffy jacket. it's red plaid and has a fuzzy hood...i'm going to sew cat ears onto it because I CAN. and i want to. closest to harajuku i will ever get, jc penny's. and it was on SALE for like $41, normally $84. i got a cheshire cat long-sleeved shirt too. i swear i'm accidentally obsessing with him; i got two shirts a couple weeks ago from that goody's closing sale that are freaking dark and light pink stripes. accidental obsessions are fun, especially when they're sneaky and discreet like that.

i am very scared for my baby, ginseng, right now. she's lost way too much weight, and i found some diarrhea in the living room this morning. on the bottom of my shoe, no less.

i'm supposed to be cleaning right now. i'm procrastinating 3 things at once. SKILLS.

edit : it just shows me how lame i am that the only thing important enough to go in here is the clothes i got today. that and i was singing "it's the most wonderful time of the year!" like it's actually december already throughout the whole trip.
