i got white low top chucks the other day that are just way too plain for my taste.
i'm debating about either stenciling black zebra stripes all over them or some sort of long but thinish picture around it.
what would you do? and if you go with the picture, do you have any ideas for it? i'm about a size 6 1/2 in girls and they're low tops so it'd be a somewhat small, stretched out looking design.
another one: anybody ever stencil on shoes before? any tips or anything?

| Paparazzi Arrested Near Britneys Home |

ET breaks the news that two members of the paparazzi were arrested near Britney Spears' home Monday night.
The North Hollywood Police tell ET that the the two photographers were "trying to affix themselves to get a better vantage spot" on a city fire access road near the pop star's home. The men were transported to the station where they were cited for loitering and released. They did not go through the booking process. The police officer stated that the "city is working on getting "No Trespassing" signs back up."
I'd love to know where the cops were when she actually needs them for this sort of stuff...

The pop princess swung by LAX around 7 PM to pick up her mother Lynne, smiling big the whole time. Looks like Britney's really handling things well - we're sure her decision to give up custody over Sean and Jayden must have been heartbreaking, but she certainly seems relieved to have dodged an ugly court battle with Kevin!

Britney Spears is definitely in the studio and working on a new album.
Yes, despite unclear signals from various gossip sites, I am told that Spears is working on a CD that Jive is expecting to get out by mid-December.
The album is a follow-up to "Blackout," the Spears album that tanked quickly after its release in late 2007.
How different will the new CD be from "Blackout"? Well, not a lot, really. Many of the same producers and writers will be on this one, too. The main difference will be that this time Spears won’t first self-destruct on the MTV Vide Music Awards and then have a public nervous breakdown while the album is being released.
One reason for the big push to put Britney back in stores is that she owes Jive a lot of money. If they can finish the album and get it out without incident, my guess is that Spears will go out on tour in 2009. Paparazzi, bloggers, this is advance notice to get ready!

According to a "reliable source" a poster at Pop Prodigy "ChaoticOne" (who might also be a poster here?) posted this:
The first single is slated for release in the Fall quarter of 2008.
The Music Video is allegedly already in its early stages of planning and could potentially be filmed within the next month or so. MTV has reached out to Britney and Jive records asking her to preform at this years VMAs being held in Hollywood, California, no official decision has been made but it is being discussed.

Britney Spears and her ex Kevin Federline have reached a custody settlement in their epic, year-and-a-half court battle over their two sons.
According to the agreement, reportedly signed by all parties, Federline retains sole custody of the couple's two sons, Preston, 2 1/2, and Jayden, 1 1/2. Spears – who's currently allowed two visits and one overnight per week – will keep her visitation rights.
"The case has been settled," Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, told E! Online. "The court still has to approve it."

We've been wondering why Britney Spears would willingly give up custody of her young sons ever since the news first broke - until now!
Avoiding A Trial
Calling the decision a "victory for the entire family," Britney's attorney Laura Wasser confirmed in the courthouse that the pop princess' decision to give her ex-husband full custody of their children was significantly motivated by her desire to avoid a trial.
"[Britney and Kevin] have finally figured out a way to work together as co-parents, and the kids will benefit as a result of that," Wasser told reporters.

Britney Spears's custody settlement with her ex Kevin Federline, in which he retained sole custody of the couple's two sons, came at a price.
A source close to the singer confirms she'll now pay Federline $20,000 a month in child support, an increase from $15,000.
Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, also demanded and received $250,000 for his work on the case, the source adds.
"All Britney was seeking was a formalization of her increased visitation that she's obtained over recent weeks, and the additional overnight," the source said. "She won both of those requests."
Spears, who is represented by lawyer Laura Wasser, currently sees her sons twice a week with one overnight. The source adds that she will get an additional overnight by year's end, barring any setbacks.
At a press conference following Friday's hearing, Kaplan declined to address any monetary settlement. "This has been a long ordeal [for Kevin]," Kaplan said, "and for it to be over makes him very happy."

Madonna has asked Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears to perform together during the finale of her upcoming world tour, it's been reported.
Spears spokesperson has already confirmed that the singer is to shot a promo video for Madonna's tour, which will be shown during the show.
But Madonna now wants Timberlake to join her in person, according to the Sun newspaper.
“Madonna is always trying to raise the bar and Britney and Timberlake on the same stage would be perfect,” a source told the newspaper.
“They have both been asked but I think both are a bit reluctant. Britney would find it all a bit emotional and JT might not fancy it. More likely is that they both appear on different dates.
"But if anyone can make this happen it’s Madonna.”
Timberlake makes a guest appearance on Madonna's latest album 'Hard Candy' and performed with her during a secret show in New York earlier this year.

A statement from Jive Records and Spears' manager Larry Rudolph says that “Britney Spears is spending her summer in the recording studio, working with a team of top-notch producers and songwriters. We’re very excited about what she’s accomplished so far.”
So is Sean Garrett, who happens to be one of those producers. “We’re trying to take her stuff to the next level,” he tells EW.com. “I’m going to come up with something crazy for her.” Spears has sold 83 million albums worldwide in her career, but Blackout only went platinum in the U.S., likely due to declining CD sales and her status as last year’s most permanent tabloid fixture. But Garrett — who’s also worked with Usher, Beyoncé, and Chris Brown — welcomes the challenge. “I like to work on an artist when they count them out...and bring them back.”

Babyface has worked with Madonna, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake, Mary J. Blige and more.
Also, producer Bryan Michael Cox revealed during a live web chat that he is working with Britney as well as claiming, "it's going to be hot".

Britney Spears's summer won't be all rest and relaxation this year: The pop singer will be spending time hard at work on her yet-untitled next album, according to her manager.
"Britney Spears is spending her summer in the recording studio, working on a brand new album," manager Larry Rudolph announced Tuesday in a statement released by Jive Records.
"She's working with a team of top-notch producers and songwriters, and we're very excited about what she's accomplished so far. No album release date has been confirmed yet."
Spears spent time in and out of the studio in the spring, fueling rumors of an upcoming album. But at that time it was "recreational," Rudolph insisted.
"She's been going to the studio, she's been having some fun. But it's all recreational for her," he told PEOPLE in May. "She's like, 'I want to go to the studio because I want to have some fun' and that's what it's all about. There's no schedule, there's no agenda, there's no anything. She is just enjoying herself."
In the studio, "She's giggly," he added. "Some days she'll go in and get nothing done. Some times she'll just play around a little bit."
Planning Ahead
But Rudolph said there was a reason behind the playtime. "She's the type of person who has the eye of the tiger," he said. "She'll likely wake up one day and decide she wants to do more than that. Whether that is a day from now, a month from now or a year from now or five years from now, I have no idea."
Lucky for her fans, she woke up sooner rather than later.
After a difficult year that included an ongoing custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline and two well-publicized visits to the hospital, Rudolph says Spears is feeling strong and her old self again.
"She's got people around her that really care about her and are there to point her in the right direction in respect to the things she should be concentrating on – her life."
Last week, Spears filmed a video segment in Hollywood that is expected to be part of Madonna's upcoming Sticky & Sweet tour.
"Britney is getting back in touch with Britney," Rudolph said in May. "And she's doing an amazing job at that."

I'm Laura, the maintainer, and I've been feeling bad about my lack of time to take care of this wonderful place.
Although I'm starting to have more time to check on this I was wondering if any of you would volunteer and become a mod so this gets its deserved attention, as I still spend long/short periods of time away from home and not being able to check on this. I live in Spain, so I'd need someone in a completely different timezone, Australia, USA/Canada, etc. And someone from Europe, too.
I just deleted some spam, which lead me to think that this is very much needed.  OMG, I love that Britney Spears is totally back in full force. I know -- I just know -- that she is going to finally make the spectacular comeback I so desperately wanted to see from her last year.
Superproducer Rodney Jerkins reveals that he is currently in the studio with Britney, recording tracks for a new album that's planned for an early 2009 release.
Says Jerkins: “I’m trying to reinvent her and myself. [The new sound is] very dancey, really uptempo, in the clubs, real aggressive, and catchy.”
Uh ... I'm not quite sure how that's a reinvention of Britney. Because the last few albums she released were jam-packed with easy-listening acoustic ballads. It's all been very piano-driven.
But whatever! I just want to see Brit-Brit back doing what she does best!
