Поскольку модераторы этого сообщества оказались воинствующими фашистами (я бы собственноручно вырезал свастики на их лбах, если бы не был щуплым ссыкливым интернет-задротом), я прекращаю свою благотворительную деятельность оцифровщика книг. Плачьте. Я оцифровал для вас 5 книг: «Право СМИ» Рихтера, «Авторское право» Панкеева, «История русской литературы конца XIX начала XX века» Соколова, «История русской журналистики XIX века» Есина, «Антология новой журналистики» Вулфа. И это было только началом моей карьеры. Оцифровка книги занимала у меня от четырех часов до двух дней. Спина болела от бесконечных наклонов к сканеру. Я говорил себе: «Брось это дело, иди, побегай по комнате», но тут же думал о несчастной студентке, которая из-за меня не прочитает книгу, не сдаст экзамен, не получит красный диплом, и ее не возьмут работать в «Коммерсантъ», и говорил себе: «Сканируй, сука, сканируй!» Новых героев, конечно же, не предвидится. Никто не захочет тратить свое драгоценное время на свидание со сканером и обработку ошибок OCR. Романтиков не осталось. В 21 веке мы все еще вынуждены ходить в библиотеку, заполнять требование, стоять в очереди, чтобы узнать о том, что нужную книгу «разобрали». Я пытался изменить эту ситуацию, но мне не дали. В завершение я бы хотел призвать всех к совершению террористических актов, а также напомнить, что Кока-Кола – наше все, а Пепси – моча. Это для того, чтобы модераторы быстро нашли причину, чтобы удалить пост. ШУТКА! Ха-ха, хуй бы там! Я буду сканировать книги для вас, даже когда меня забанят, исключат из института, заберут в армию или посадят в тюрьму. Зачем я это делаю? Да потому что в этой жизни я не научился делать ничего другого. Поэтому я и в сорок лет буду сканировать для вас книги. А, да, забыл сказать: Я срал и ссал на вас! [07 Dec 2009|10:07am] indilime [ mood | good ] So Friday night was definitely one of my best nights in NYC ever. I won't go into too much detail yet because there is more to come this week, but I will say that between the hours of 6pm and... maybe 2:30am-ish?, I saw Mystery Team twice, got inducted into the Sword Club, and hung out for quite a while with all of DERRICK Comedy minus DC (who was in L.A. at the time) and Kevin Brown (Dot Com on 30 Rock). phrasmotic informed me of DERRICK and Mystery Team after she found out that I'm a huge fan of Community (and Donald Glover's character specifically), so I can't say I'm the biggest fan or that I've been a fan for ages like most people have, but it was still a great experience nonetheless. All of them were SUPER great people and if I wasn't a fan before, I am now. And meeting Donald was definitely a highlight. phrasmotic and I had a long conversation with him, which included one of my favorite childhood movies, 3 Ninjas, and he gave us each two hugs in the span of that conversation. Что нужно: нужны короткие рассказы (3-4 предложения) о ваших детях-дошкольниках, которые тем или иным образом позорили вас на людях. Ну, в духе той истории, когда мне 3-х летний Тимофей в супермаркете при покупке консервов громко сказал «поставь эту хрень на место, мама». Или вот, например, водитель остановку в маршрутке объявляет, а мальчик громко спрашивает у мамы «а почему этот дядя орет как дурак?». la-z-drip™ [07 Dec 2009|12:39am] subliculous i propose an idea for a self-operating turkey baster that operates on the principles of percolation. a hollow metal tube, about 1/2 an inch in diameter, bent in a manner which would arc over the roasting bird, with either end of the tube resting in the liquid at the bottom of the pan, the tube held upright either by small spikes or a weighted base. a series of pinholes would perforate the inside edge of the tube, about an inch apart. picture something similar to a lawn sprinkler. there would also be about three pinholes at the circumference of each foot, beneath liquid level. the rising level of heat would cause the liquid to rise through the tubes (via convection?), until reaching the top of the tube, and dripping from the pinholes back onto the bird, and therefore circulating, continually basting the meat. but would it fly? would the basting process continue to work once the level of heat equalizes throughout all the liquid? or would it, like the coffee percolator, cease to drip? i suspect there's only one way to find out . and that's to MAKE ONE. expect to find me in hardware shops tomorrow. 2 left... u n t i l the stars grew dim

However, whenever I try threshold it never looks that nice. It always looks scratchy and it's never smooth.
