I have a new layout. This thing took FOREVER to code. But it turned out really, really nice, so I probably shouldn't complain.
The girls are from Chobits, the lyrics are from Gwen Stefani's "What You Waiting For," icon and layout by me.
Fleurir means "to bloom" in French, by the way.
I guess I'll go work on icons now.

Edgar Degas est né le dix-neuf juin mille huit cent trente-quatre en Paris. Il avait une famille riche. Il allait au lycée Louis-le-Grand et l’École des Beaux-Arts pour étudiait l’art. Après celui, il est allé en Italie étudier l’art de Rennaisance. D’abord, Degas a exhibé tes peintures dans le Salon, mais on plus tard, il a commencé exhibiter tes peintures dans l’expositions impressionnistes. After the Franco-Prussian War in 1870, he began to lose his eyesight and did less painting. Quand il était plus âgé, il préférait des crayons pastels et le scuipture. Il ne s’est jamais marié. Degas est mort le vingt-sept septembre mille neuf dix-sept.
Jean Auguste Ingres était une influence plus tôt qui encouragait le contour et l’équilibre. Il était reconnu quelque peu pour ses peintures historiques et ses portraits. En Paris, Degas a fait la connaissance de Édouard Manet et il commençais peindre thèmes contemporains. Ses endroits préféres était l’opera, le ballet, la piste, le cirque, et son atelier. Il a peint des scènes en plein air, aussi. Ses subjets préféres était les danseuses et les ballerines, les chevaux, et les nues. Plus tard dans sa vie, il a peint les femmes quotidiennes.
Il y avait une influence japonaise sur ses peintures. Il a peint les sujets sur une diagonale et a utilisé le conception assymétrique. Ses optiques étaient semblamble à ceux dans la photographie. His subjects would often be pushed off to the side by props or other items in the scene. He always strove to capture his models in poses of natural movement and grace. His paintings of dancers are probably his most famous for this reason.
Although Degas is grouped with the Impressionist movement, his art stlye is much more classical than theirs. Il préférait l’atelier au dehors. Il a peint de les esquisses, les notes, et les modèles. He paid very close attention to draftsmanship, portraiture and composition, rather than the spontaneity that was often present in other impressionists’ paintings. However, he did strive to show Parisian life in an unique way.

Well, I got my hair in braids and it's pretty cute. I can't believe it's me though; I look so different! I also got a new digital camera. It's Nikon Coolpix 3200 and it's so tiny! I'm afraid I'll break it, eh heh. I'm selling my old digital camera if anyone wants. It's a Nikon Coolpix 2500, 2.0 megapixels. It comes with all the books/manuals I can find, 2 memory cards, rechargable battery, battery charger, and USB cable for $100.
Now I get to go write my French impressionist report and make icons. Whoooo.

sorry kids. didn't mean to go so long without writing, but just didn't feel like it. at the moment i am largely dissatisfied with life and some of my friends, a situation which i won't go into. i got my motherboard installed, but I forgot to put in the standing pins so i have to do it all over again. jfdkosjfhlsjkfhs.
mr. caruso, my creative writing teacher, is super cool. i think i'm really gonna like this class.

Well, turns out I've have strep throat since Wednesday. I hope I didn't share anything with anybody. Eh heh.
So far on my Sex-in-a-Glowing-Box computer: case. And I ordered the motherboard but I think the huge amounts of snow made it late. Fed Ex is usually so fast. *cries*
I've got a new favorite show. And it's on Nick Jr. It's called Lazy Town. BUT IT'S COOL, I TELL YOU. I want to dress up like the main character Stephanie. She is so cute and wears all pink and can do splits and stuff. Teehee.

Surfing ebay has made me want to dress vintage!!!!!
I found a super cute boa for only $4.50 on ebay. It's red and shiny. And I want to go to prom in a 1940/50's gown. They're so pretty. Now I just need people to go to prom with me.

I got a fairly good moderating grade in US History today. I had lots of happiness.
But then I came home and ran into a door.
And saw how cute I used to be. And now I am stuffing my face with cookies because I want to be cute and happy and have boys all over me and such. =(
So to make myself feel better, I'll post pictures of super amazing clothes I would totally wear if I wasn't a sucky ugly fat person.
