Rufus Sewell may be best known for portraying aristocratic hotheads in movies like A Knight's Tale and The Illusionist, but the British actor sounds like he's happy to trade villainous intensity for a new role as a crime-fighting man of science.

In "Eleventh Hour," which premieres Thursday on CBS, Sewell plays it cool as biophysicist Jacob Hood. The show is yet another British miniseries retooled for an American audience: Jerry Bruckheimer's U.S. version of Eleventh Hour casts Sewell as a special consultant to the FBI who helps agent Rachel Young (Marley Shelton) solve crimes involving cloning, cryogenics and other strange cases based on actual science.

Monday morning came and it was easy to see who the die hard Evanescence/Amy Lee/Nightmare Before Christmas fans were due to the clothing, if it wasn't an Evanescence shirt it was Nightmare Before Christmas Hoodie. Sadly, less than 10 actual Fans were only there to see Amy, everyone else gave a “Who’s that?”, “I don’t know who she is” when Amy Lee of Evanescence was mentioned by us which was probably due to the fact that the crowd was full of an older audience...

Bond star Daniel Craig was introduced to real-life spies to increase the authenticity of his acting in new 007 movie Quantum Of Solace.

The British actor took over the secret agent role from Pierce Brosnan in 2005, and was determined to take the beloved character in a more edgier direction than previous 007 actors.

So Craig met real spies and assassins on-set of his first Bond outing, Casino Royale, and read author Ian Fleming's original stories, to gather inspiration for the role

He tells Britain's Telegraph magazine, "You can see it in their (the spies') eyes. You know immediately, 'Oh, hello, he's a killer'. There's a look. These guys walk into a room and very subtly they check the perimeters for an exit. That's the sort of thing I wanted."

"Everything I brought to the character comers straight from Ian Fleming. I went back and read all the books and found that Bond's always in trouble. Bond's always fighting his inner demons."

Jennifer Ellison has announced that she will be getting hitched next year.

The actress, 25, told Closer magazine that she planned to wed new boyfriend Robbie Tickle, 29, in a small, low-key ceremony.

She said of her boyfriend of seven months: “Me and Rob haven't been together long, but when you fall madly in love with someone, you don't need to wait five years to take it to the next level."

"We'll get married next year – but it won't be a big celeb wedding, I only want an intimate affair with family and friends.”

The Brookside star is also keen on starting a family with Robbie, a semi-pro boxer.

“I'd love children. I want three, but I'm busy with work so it's on hold.”
