Good morning/afternoon/evening/night. You appear to have stumbled across my journal. Join me as I take you on a trip through the mind of me.
THE BASIC STUFF
I'm heeeeeeere! My name is Hayley. I was given that name by my old cat Tess, who sadly died of cancer. My father wanted to name me Lisa Marie after Elvis's daughter, but alas, he did not get his wish, as Tess picked Hayley Louise. And thus that is my name.
I was once a child.
Now I am not.
I am aged at 16 years, and shall remain aged at 16 years until my next birthday, which is 24th August.
I live in Oldham, Lancashire. Some Yorkshire people don't like us because we stole Saddleworth off them. And also, Oldham's resident folk band The Oldham Tinkers sang these lines in their hit "Oldham Edge" "Now we're touching Yorkshire's line/I can't see nowt passed here but grime." Oldham is famous for the Tubular Bandage, Savoury Duck, various Corrie cast members, various rugby players, Mark from Take That, The Oldham Tinkers and Jack White's wife.
I come from a mother and a father. My sister Toni came before me from the same mother and father. We live in a lovely little house at the top of a hill in Waterhead which is currently falling apart, so we are plagued by builders.
ME AND FATHER
SISTER, MUM AND ME this was a while ago, hence my blondeness.I am beginning Oldham Sixth Form College this year, and have left St Damian's RC Science College in Ashton, where i shared many similar interests with the ginger bearded, smelly, yet very friendly Spanish teacher, which scared me. I was also a prefect, and a very close friend was head girl, so year 7's were scared of me. At that school, we witnessed a miracle.

If I could live in any other era, it would be the 70's. Early 70's for the Glam Rock scene [I'm a Glitter Kid at heart], and late 70's so I could have seen Joy Division live, as I have a shameless adoration for Ian Curtis. Sadly, I wasn't born until the last few months of the 80's...
I have a double-jointed thumb.
MUSIC
I do love music. I wouldn't go so far as to say music is my life, as you need other things in your life. For example: oxygen. However, without music, mine would be a very mundane existance. I enjoy many bands and musicians. My top 6 are: The Libertines, Joy Division, Muse, Pulp, T-Rex and David Bowie, though I listen to MUCH more. From Franz Ferdinand to Client to The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster, there's bound to be something I like in any genre. It would probably be simpler to list genres. But I'm not going to. If you're so desperate to know, you can ask me.
FILM
I love watching films. My favourite film is Velvet Goldmine, as that is the hottest film ever! And glam rock fascinates me. Other films I enjoy are: Ned Kelly, The Hole, Ginger Snaps, Saw, Donnie Darko, Shaun Of The Dead, Big Fish, Trainspotting, Lord Of The Rings, Harry Potter, The Champ, A Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy, School Of Rock, Madagascar, Moulin Rouge, Chicago, Oliver, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Center Stage.
BOOKS
Reading is a passion of mine. Not the crap my old school made me read, but stuff I enjoy. HEROES
A lot of the people I fancy are actually heroes of mine, so the people in the loves section, along with Charlotte Hatherley, Liela Moss, Bob Geldof, Stevie Nicks, Paul Sculthorpe, Barrie McDermott, Hooky, Amber Tamblyn, Sharon Osbourne, Bill Bailey and Brian May.
THE MEANING OF LIFE
The answer to life, the universe and everything may be 42, but the meaning of life isn't a question and thus does not require an answer, more of an explanation. After careful thought, I have discovered it. Any question life may throw at you, you can answer it with one simple thing. "Did you steal my banana?" "Excuse me, where is the bingo hall?" "Please stop blowing holes in my house?" "Is that a third nipple?" "Do you forgive me?" "Can I have your spleen?" and "Will you marry me?" can all be answered with these two words: "Fuck off." Scott seems to think the meaning of life is a series of dots, so perhaps that is the visual representation of "Fuck off." But as I say, the meaning of life isn't a question. But "Fuck off" does not always have to be an answer. It can be a statement, a song lyric, even a name if you're cruel to your children. That's why it is the meaning of life.
