- This coming Saturday, August 30th Encephalon will be performing at Mavericks with Memmaker and Synkro - more info here

- A club edit of "Rise" will be coming out on Das Bunker's next compilation cd. It is also featured in the upcoming film The Gene Generation

- Our ever so gloomy electro-doom metal epic "Mariana's Trench" is planned to come out on a comp by a new industrial/EBM label out of MINNEAPOLIS called NO SEX IN THE FACTORY!

- I got a remix of "Garden" from Autoclav1.1 and I sent kits to genCAB, Fractured, and Famine so far. Im still interested in getting some more, maybe a lot more.

- I finished a cool remix of Human Shield, its very electro and modern except for some retro distorted drum breaks played off the midi keyboard!

- 11 of the 13 tracks from "Integrate or Disintegrate" are mixed, rendered, pre-mastered, done tweaking forever. The remaining should be done this week or next. Its 13 full songs with lyrics I stand behind, 13 musical arrangements that are pleasing to my ear when performed on piano or guitar, 13 tracks that were mixed/edited/programmed and produced with equal care and ideas that I feel make music worth listening to. I'm really looking forward to sending the masters off, kissing the last 4 years good bye - and then immediately getting to work on new music!

Hailing from Vancouver, LSD fuses the sounds of Industrial, Metal, Punk and Drum & Bass. The band features Jeremy Inkel and Jared Slingerland of Front Line Assembly and Denyss McKnight of Vancouver Punk legends The Black Halos. They've recently shared the stage with The Birthday Massacre, Combichrist, DOA, Genitorturers, SNFU, and Chemlab, in support of their upcoming full-length debut, produced by Chris Peterson (FLA, Noise Unit), and mastered by Shaun Thingvold (Skinny Puppy, Strapping Young Lad).

Hope everyone had a good time in montreal :D

Yesterday I received a cool remix of our track "Garden" from Autoclav1.1 ! - its a completely different take on the song which left me confused at first but the more I listened the more I could pick out layers and details of the original, anyways it sounds different but I like the cut of its... uhhh... jibb.

Anyhoo, it would be cool to find a compilation cd to give this lovely track a home, any suggestions?

So to elaborate further The Gene Generation is a much anticipated cyber punk film thats coming out next month, the soundtrack consisted of music by 2 of the biggest ebm scene bands of the last 5 years, VNV Nation and Combichrist. However recently the director has fallen in love with the Encephalon song "Rise" and has now chosen to include it in the movie!

As you can see we are getting a ton of support as Rise is now the first song on the pages player!

so im trying to plan for a live performance. I wanna do soemthing super theatrical, so Im looking for someone (or someones) to make backing vids, some risers or a good carpenter, and as many fog machines and strobe lights as I can get my hands on, also looking for about 5 inexpensive masks, is there a super awesome mask store anywhere or online?. AND of course a photographer to capture it all.
