"home" again.
nothing really feels right.
I'm going to try and look at the top floor of the Dwight house, and maybe see if Cat, Anthony and Fred want to rent it with Oakes & I. $1000/month, punks on the floor below, and it would be a vegan edge house. I don't know. I can't live at Goffe, even though I've technically only tried it for three days.
I want to move to Columbus, but I don't think Oakes will go for it and it really is a total frat boy town.
We're gonna visit Nashville in the Fall via train, and Britt is moving back there from Bloomington in a few weeks, so that makes it even more appealing. I miss her so much.
Tour was so good, and its technically not over because we're playing Worcester tonight and then possibly Hartford tomorrow with our new buddies in Brown Sugar and Rational Animals. The latter sounds just like later Black Flag and we all bonded big time.
I mad so many friends and future pen pals on this tour, its incredible. All of the dudes in Merkit and Positive Noise turned out to be really right on, awesome kids to talk to. I got to rekindle a bunch of friendships, too, which is always awesome. I'm totally feeling the post-tour bum-out, but I'm hoping to keep the momentum going with letters and mixtapes sent out to new friends.
Since food is always a theme, here are some delicious things I ate: tofu-broccoli knish and falafel-french fry pizza in New Brunswick; free Sticky Fingers via Brad in DC; soy beef patties and a free brownie cheese cake via Heis in Brooklyn; homemade chocolate chip pancakes by Ryan Delay in Columbus; chicken steaks at Govinda's and iced almond mate lattes from Satellite in Philly; a bunch of homecooked food that ruled in most cities.
