hey catherine, this is alex. just wanted to comment and say that i think your art is beautiful, its really amazing and i dont know how you do it. thanks for the discount the other day, and i hope, if i dont see you before then, that school goes well. come and visit our french class sometime if you get a chance. even though mme wont be there, you should still visit. parce que nous vous aimons. :) au revoir.

I know! the sea is in the background. you are sitting in the car at the beach on a rainy day..you can see the waves through the car windshield...

This is a great image! i love the use of text with photography & illustration. I am imagining the feeling of driving along on a really grey and rainy day [its summer here right now so i havent thought about raindrops on the windscreen in a while!]
