Total price in SGD: Total price in USD * 1.42 + 5% of total price in SGD (excludes light items)

3) We charge a concierge fee of 5% for every item of apparel and heavy/bulky items, as we have a luggage weight limit and limited space. And we have to do our own shopping there! :D So please understand, dear friends :) But we won't impose the fee on small/light items!

4) Make FULL payment to us by 23 JUNE, in school, or your order may be forfeit. You may pay in USD or SGD. But if you have USD, please pay in USD! Thanks :) We may make exceptions to our own discretion :)

5) If the item somehow happens to be unavailable at the destination, your full payment will be refunded after 8 June. Just drop us a line and arrange a meet up time with us. :D Don't worry, you'll get your money back if you don't get your order.

On popular demand, (well, ain't Sufen popular and who disagrees!) I shall resume blogging (do I hear applause?) Hee sorry for that. I just needed a little ego-booster.

Today's post is not about Heng Siok Tian's play, The Lift, though it is also very funny!

Hope you liked that. And no, that is not today's post! Today's post is:

"Are you from Nanyang?"

That was the second time the medium built, slightly balding Indian guy who lives in the 13th floor asked me that. The first time he asked me that was when we were in the lift. I turned slightly away from him, as I always do when there are other people in the lift, apart from my neighbours/family. My body language was clearly saying "Go away I don't want to talk to you." Or something to that extent. Most people heeded the clear sign of my reticence, but not him. I noticed he was looking at me, or rather, the obvious white of the Nanyang uniform. (I had just come home from school) I was feeling a little unnerved when he suddenly said, "Are you from Nanyang?"

I was like- stare-stop-stare. Politeness reigned though, so I merely nodded. He then said, "Nanyang life very stressful ah. Nowadays got Literature right?" I chuckled a little and agreed. Just then, the lift stopped at my floor. So I got out. And he said, "Bye-bye." -stare- So I replied in the same way.

Today was the second time. Same time, same place. Haha, it was even the SAME LIFT! We stepped in. He stared at me.
"Are you from Nanyang?"
"Yah."
"Nanyang life very stressful right?"
"Hahaha yah!"
"You study Literature in school?"
"Haha yah."
"What level are you?"

-stop-stare-

If I was feeling mean, I might've said Sec 1, if I was pissed I might've said Sec 2. If I was REALLY egotistical, I might've said Sec 4. But I was feeling none of those, so I said I was Sec 3!
