It's nice when you know people like you, you know? :D
My Writing Center coworkers gave this to me today. I just felt the love. Hahah! I'll be leaving soon, and even though I really have liked working here, I think I'm ready to go to Japan again.
I've actually been going back and forth over the last month or two. There are so many reasons to go, and so many to not go. I think my ideal is to go, and then keep going; I really need to see some other places like Ireland, the Isle of Man, London, China, Singapore... just to name a few. I'm thinking my work money will most likely go to those excursions. Haha. I don't think I'm trying to find where I fit in; I'm trying to find something else. And it's good to not know what that "darkness" is. :)
With the surge of awareness that I'm getting from all of these books and online resources, I'm really confident in my choices now. I keep making better ones, and having support from friends and family is always wonderful. Now: we leave August 22nd for sure. Just waiting for our visas to return from the Portland Consulate, which he should get them tomorrow. Hopefully, by Friday, we'll get them. Then it's getting the rest of my wardrobe together. Portland was a complete disaster, and useless to go to; the only highlight was an actual vegetarian Chinese restaurant! Very yum.
Argh. Must take off. This is going to be my last update in a while.
