I guess the biggest thing about me growing up is
that in two days I am going to be nineteen
and for some reason I still can't get over my
childhood, and I still can't get over things
that have been happening for years,
I still can't grasp myself and say you know what
it can't affect you anymore, because, well,
it always has affected me. And I don't think it can
just go away, I don't think life works like that,
I don't think humans are just capable of forgetting
their scary pasts and their bad childhoods.
