This is a story by Holly Summers who told this to Emily Ferris. I thought this story was rather amazing so i thought i'd post it. Here it goes.

Holly]: once upon a time there was a boy named gavin and he had a secret. everyday he went to school he had to hide, what he thought was, the most obvious thing in the world. he always stayed a safe distance away from her to make sure that she couldnt see how nervous he was. her name was elisa and she was the most beautiful girl he had ever laid eyes on. she always wanted to try to get to know gavin and wanted to be friends but she noticed that he was never at ease around her, and she couldnt understand why...
Holly]: it wasnt the kind of love like in the fairy tales though. he never said that he had been in love with her since the moment he saw her. he fell in love with her the first time he talked to her. he hung on every word that came out of her beautiful lips. see gavin was different. he was tired of all the "pretty" girls who were totally fake sluts. he wanted someone of substance. of course he did like that elisa was more beautiful than all of the other girls but that wasnt why he loved her....
Holly]: elisa's feelings for gavin weren't mutual though. yes, she liked him but she liked him better when she saw him at a distance. he was always more confident when he was around others. and she loved that. but she couldnt understand why he acted different around her. she had come to the conclusion that he didnt like her and that he actually couldnt stand her. this of course could not be farther from the truth. gavin was so in love with her that he was scared to be himself...
Holly]: or to say something that she might disaprove of. this was the downfall. gavin could not show elisa how he really was and though elisa liked who gavin was around others she despised who he was around her. one day after school gavin saw elisa get into steve's car. steve was a few years older than both of them and was in a band. gavin thought for sure that he had no chance at winning her now. and he was right. she started dating steve and they had a great relationship. as soon as they started dating...
Holly]: gavin had felt like such a failure that he didnt have the energy to be nervous around elisa anymore. he had lost all hope of ever being wth her. elisa started to like who gavin was now. she could tell that he was depressed but couldnt figure out why, but at least now he could have a conversation with her. after a few months, people started telling elisa that steve was a horrible guy and that she should break up with him but no one would tell her what exactly he was doing to deserve that...
Holly]: one day she decided to suprise steve by showing up at his house. she went around to the back yard and found steve in the hot tub with another girl. he swore up and down that they were just friends elisa believed him. a few days later she suprised him again and this time he was making out with a different girl in the hot tub. she dumped him right there. she drove home and called gavin. he went straight to her house to console her, but he was really nervous around her again...
Holly]: elisa was sick of it and aked gavin why he hated her too. gavin was suprised that she said this and couldnt get a real word to come out of his mouth. "why cant anyone be honest with me?" she screamed. "i just wanted you to be honest with me." she told him to leave, and he got up and walked towards the door. suddenly he turned around and walked back to her. he still couldnt get any words out,
Holly]: and he definitely didnt have the courage to kiss her so he gave her a hug without knowing that that was what she wanted and needed more than anything from him. one tear fell from his eye and he turned and walked out to his car. just as he opened the car door, she ran outside and said she had to ask him something. before she could get the first word out he kissed her in a style that clark gable would admire. that was it. she was his forever and he wasnt nervous around her anymore. hmm the end.
