The Prophet Muhammad (May Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Every day on which the sun rises, settling a dispute fairly between two people is a sadaqah (act of charity); helping a man to get up on his beast or load his goods onto it is a sadaqah; a good word is a sadaqah; every step taken towards prayer is a sadaqah; and removing something harmful from the road is a sadaqah.” (Bukhari and Muslim)
God, the Almighty, says: “Verily Satan is an enemy to you: so treat him as an enemy. He only invites his adherents that they may become companions of the Blazing Fire. –For those who reject Allah, is a terrible chastisement but for those who believe and work righteous deeds, is Forgiveness, and a magnificent Reward.” (Qur’an 35:6-7)
