Modcloth is killing me with cute clothes right now.

I've been awake for the last 3 hours and it sucks!

Here's something that makes it a little less sucky (and is probably only super awesome to me).

Sweet Home Style was mentioned on darling Dexter!

Dexter is one of my FAVORITE blogs. I love her style and photos so this is a major treat for me. :) It's like when you're wearing a kickass outfit and you feel amazing and some random person in the grocery store tells you that you look awesome. Yea. It feels like that. Lol.

I just removed a bunch of communities from my friend's list so that I could see all of the actual people on my friend's list. This means I'll probably start commenting on crap you posted forever ago. No freaking out, ok? Ok.

I went 'freecycling' Saturday and ended up with this box of about 20 vintage sewing patterns (!). I feel like such a dork because this makes me so excited.

The patterns are from the 60s and 70s and a lot of them are really modern. Most of them are chilfren's/teen patterns but there are about four or five men's patterns thrown in.




See what I mean? This white dress looks pretty up to date. It'll look much better once I make it nearly a foot shorter. Lol.

I spent this morning cleaning out a space in my desk for all of the patterns (only to realize they don't fit with all of my fabric in there, too. Boo). And I packed up queenelectric's Unicorn tote so that it can be shipped today.

So, I got a few major tasks completed (clearing desk space and mailing this package being two of them) but I still have a ton of other things to do. I have this video of The Cocker Spaniels from Friday that I want to upload and a few crafty things to make...and somewhere during the week I should probably find a job, despite the fact that this "vacation" is making me highly productive. Lol.
