i've got a phrase stuck in my head. "you have perceived the resonance." i heard it in a video game, and, undoubtedly, the translators had a terribly hard time making the english sound remotely like the japanese; it's obvious, after all, that they had to "settle" on something as simply and overwhelmingly gorgeous as, "perceive the resonance." i'm not even sure what it means. i couldn't put it into laymans terms. "notice the significance" perhaps? how utterly and completely moving.
