heyyy guys. lol. it's been a while hasn't it? kind of like...20 weeks since my last LJ post? man, i can't believe it's going to be 2010 in a couple weeks! but thank goodness for winter break, ughhh. last quarter was just crazy and filled with work. i had to take a writing class for GE, which was just hours of research & writing. :| hopefully next quarter will be more exciting. i'm taking my upper division political science and japanese, so i'm more optimistic. :)

i need to catch up with Glee. i've missed the last couple of episodes since i've either forgotten or couldn't watch it. i loooove it! however, i do think they rush the storylines a bit per episode. but otherwise, it's full of fun. i've also picked up Supernatural mostly because of those .gifs at ONTD...i'm slowly trying to get all the characters names down. and i like the whole angels vs demons thing they have going on. i wonder when God will show up, lol. Lucifer's been like "OH HAY GUYS" for a while now. & you know what, i've also been watching Vampire Diaries too. :3 i really like it. i've always like vampires & stuff, but all this...protective, batshit emo, sparkly Twilight business has made me dislike them recently. needs moar badass Damon Salvatore vampires, ok thx. VD reminds me of old-school WB before it crapped over to the CW.

...hmmm, otherwise. Lady GaGa. what can i say? i've been quite obsessed with her lately. she's interesting. makes catchy music. gurlfriend can sing. i think The Fame Monster > The Fame tremendously. AND I'M SEEING HER ON THE 22ND @ LA NOKIA, OMFG. (w/ cocky_toad). THAT'S IN LIKE A WEEK. my sister is planning to dress me up appropriately, lol. so anyway, i'll just leave this here:

long time, no post. :D
well, i've been busy the couple of weeks. hanging out with friends, going to the movie theaters, & etc. also, my laptop decided to actually...die sometime 3 weeks ago. (apparently it was recalled. LOL. NO WONDER IT'S BEEN SO SHITTY LATELY. DAMN.) well, i finally got it back today from repair! ♥ it seems to work now. LOL. :D

too bad HP actually erased EVERYTHING. :( but it's okay. i'll live somehow. i just need to find where i placed my burnt copy of Photoshop. LMAO. let's see...

→ on tuesday i went to the Hollywood Rose Bowl to watch a football (not...that football. SOCCER!) match between Chelsea FC & Inter Milan. it was really fun other than the fact there was a fandom brawl like...a row behind us. D: apparently these couple of inter milan fans got stuck in the chelsea section. and dude. when you start shit, you're bound to get into a fight. and when there's beer around....yeah. haha. but the match was fun! chelsea won 2-0, yay! it was my first european football match.

→ i think i've seen Up, Harry Potter, & Bruno the past couple of weeks. all 3 were great. you should all watch them! :D Up made me cry like a baby. HP was awesome, especially the Felix Felicis part. & Bruno isn't for everyone, i guess, since my mom & sister dreaded it, but dude, it's Sacha Baron Cohen. WHAT DO U EXPECT.

→ idk, i think that's it. other than that, i've been trying to keep up with my j-dramas.

school is the same old, same old. i got a Bio midterm coming up already. >_>;; i've had the teacher before for another Bio class, so hopefully, i know what to expect when it comes to the test and how she structures things. Japanese is getting harder and harder by the minute, but i must carry on~ i'm not a fan of kanji. but it's amazing how much i can read and understand material now. however, i can't seem to speak it right, haha!!

so. i've actually been on winter break since december 11th. lol. idk why i haven't really updated. must be my laziness. ;]

though, i should've been a little bit productive seeing as xmas is like, next thursday and i haven't really shopped for presents. & to make it worse, whenever i did go, i went to shop for myself. LOL. i always end up looking for presents, but then it's like, "OMG THAT'S SO CUTE...FOR ME." xD

but i'm going shopping tomorrow, for suuuure. i might drop by South Coast, but that might be. a hassle. we'll see.

i kinda hate that there's no new TV shows. it's like hello~ it's the only freaking time i can watch TV, lol. but yeah, i've caught up with everything i've wanted to watch thus far (including some j-dramas i finally finished! ♥). i'm trying not to spoil the last ep of "Ryusei no Kizuna" until i watch it. xD

i've also been listening to music. i'm like, really into Beyoncé's new album. especially the "Sasha Fierce" side. ♪ a diva is a female version of a hustler ♪ LOL. i've also picked up MGMT from a friend. and holy cow, i've heard their songs without really knowing who they were. i think it's from commercials or something. and Britney~ of course.

i started my sophomore year @ UCI on thursday. :D
i still need to get used to waking early, but i'm pretty glad that i'm starting classes again, really. i've been bored out of my mind over the summer.

i'm planning on being more social this year, lol. so, i went to Tomo no Kai's first club meeting (my friend Kelyn performed with her Taiko (Japanese drums) group). i met a lot of cool people. the reason why i like college so much is because people are just easier to talk to. XD i think i'm gonna find more info about Kababayan, which is the Filipino club. if you've seen America's Best Dance Crew, Kaba Modern was formed in that club. ;D but i won't dance, LMAO.

also, another close friend of mine is at UCI! i've known her like, ALL MY LIFE (our parents are friends). so, it's been great seeing her more often since she comes from LA. i don't have to drive there now, haha. she just slept over last night since my sister had Homecoming yesterday and we did her hair/make-up.

as for classes, i think i got some good ones this quarter. i just started Japanese. Hajimemashite. Eirynne desu. Dozoo Yoroshiku. ...that's all i know for now. XD thank goodness i tagged all my Japanese music in Japanese characters. it really helps with the hiragana/katakana. :3

i'm also taking bio for GE. it's about male/female differences in neurobiology or whatever. but it's interesting so far. then political theory (yay!) and math (pre-calc because i can't pass the calc placement test. HOW SAD, RIGHT?! i know. XD)

ohhhh yeah, i got a new iPod! ♥
it's the new nano. it's really cool. i love the new features and the colors~



my old one was having audio issues (it works on my bose stereo, but not when i used my headphones. like, sound would come out of 1 ear. it wasn't the headphones themselves since they work peachy keen on my laptop and other iPods). but then my dad bought me a new one WHAT. o_o;; well, he uses my old one for his truck now, haha.

even though i don't agree with a lot of Chinese politics, it was a well-made and excellent olympic games! a lot of exciting events & things happened during this olympics, like my bb Michael Phelps winning all 8 gold medals! :D i managed to watch the final USA vs. Spain basketball match, since it came on at like, 11:30 PM, LOL. the b-ball team was so cute! they were really happy with their win. and it was kinda weird seeing Kobe & Pau play against each other, haha.

so now, i have nothing exciting to watch. D:
well, the US Open (Tennis) just started, despite the fact that all the athletes were at the Olympic games like, last week, haha. OMG NADAL WON GOLD. YAY.

apparently my mom & a couple of her friends are going to New York on Thursday, just for fun. WHAT. wtf, not cool.

it's been a very uneventful summer for me. ugh.
but, trying to find the Jonas Brothers house w/ Trisha & Jackie was really fun (i guess we found it the first time around, but we didn't know at the time. LOL). i think we're gonna go at it again soon. ;)
