hmmm.
summer's been pretty boring so far. XD but, my mom bought me & my sister new games for the Nintendo Wii and i have been playing them non-stop. OMG, the Wii Fit is pretty boss. it tells you if you're "out of balance" and focuses on posture, toning, and other stuff! i've been whoring out the hula hoop game and the ones that focus on balance. i haven't tried yoga yet, but my sister has and it looks. hard. LOL. especially if the game wants you to balance properly too. haha. we also got Super Smash Brothers Brawl. it's so much fun. i still need to unlock some players, like Snake & Sonic, but i already unlocked Luigi. :)
lalala what else. i saw 3 movies like, last week. Kung-fu Panda, Get Smart, & Wall-E. all 3 were really good. i recommend them. :) i think i liked Kung-fu Panda the best actually. i wasn't expecting it to be so good, so that was a nice surprise.
oh!
i went to Oceanside Pier...last weekend? XD the beach was really nice, i've been there before & all, but i never went to play on the beach. the sand was really nice and the water was really clear! i'd definitely go there again. i should post some pictures!

well, what to say.
it's been a good year, Lakers. i will give props to the Celtics defense and determination. it was pretty impressive :D but, there's always next year, right? come back better than ever! ♥ i will admit, i only watched the play-offs & on, but me actually getting excited for. sports. is a big deal. i barely watch any sports. :D way to go, Lakers!
i recently found a commercial with Pau Gasol & Rafael Nadal (he's a tennis player). OMG, I LAUGHED SO HARD. XD;; the only sports thing i actually watch is some tennis, so seeing a Laker & Rafa was pretty hilarious. i'm glad Nadal won the French Open and completely killed Federer. idk, i don't hate Federer, but something inside me hopes he doesn't win all the slams. yeah, yeah.
anyway, i don't know how old this is but, whatever. LMAO.
( LOL )
today was also my sister's bday (she turned 14 today) and we went out to Lucille's BBQ for dinner and omg, i was in a freaking food coma for the longest time. D: i can't believe she's going to high school next year. time flies!

long time no see!
sorry for the lack of comments/entries. i just finished my first year at UC Irvine today! ^^;; i can finally enjoy summer now, haha. the last week has been pretty hectic, studying for fnals and doing 2 4-page essays. LOL. so much fun. let's just hope i didn't flunk any classes!
i signed up for classes a couple weeks ago, but i'm finally taking Japanese next year! i'm really excited. i think Kelyn's taking it too, but she's in a different class time. we kinda joked around saying we can finally attempt to watch j-dramas without the subs, lol. i kinda. convinced her to watch Last Friends. >3

speaking of Last Friends, episode 10 was the first time i cried in the series. the last section of the episode was really well made. i can honestly say i'm now a fan of Nishikido Ryo (he plays Oikawa Sosuke). it's going to take me a while to get that image of Sosuke out of the brain, but his scenes were so impressive. and. haunting.
bring on episode 11.
OK. i think everyone's gonna comment on this, BUT LAKERS. D: D: D: WHAT. WHAT HAPPENED. i can't believe it. i haven't been so emotionally involved in sports in a while. haha. that was just really depressing. however, if they get out of this, they'll make history, no doubt! GO GO LOS ANGELES. ♥

Kiwi is my friend's dog that i'm taking care of while she's off doing who knows what in the Philippines *is jealous*. i haven't been there since 2002. D: well anyway, it's fun having a dog around since i don't have one cuz my dad's allergic (Kiwi's an outdoors dog, so. my dad doesn't have to touch him, LOL). he's very energetic and he likes running around and fetching balls! he's soooo cute. ♥
i actually did something. productive. today, LOL. i can't believe finals are coming around the corner. and signing up for fall qtr. is coming up too! but, my registration window is not until the 30th. D: i also need to figure out that whole. major. thing, LMAO. i've been wanting to do some research, but i'm always distracted. XD but, i'm thinking something in the social sciences, since i'm affiliated with the school now. :D
i also saw Prince Caspian on Friday. it was pretty good!
is it bad that i was kinda. fangirling. over Prince Caspian (Ben Barnes)? HE HAS GOOD HAIR.

Me & Amber went there last night after a screening for a movie for our Writing 39B class. & today, we went to Olive Garden, LMAO. i seriously took a 2+ hour nap because i'm always tired when i eat a big meal. D:

bleh. nothing else is going on, really. i got a poli sci midterm on thursday and that's about it. LOL. can't believe it's like, week 5 (out of 10 + finals). it's crazy how this year went by! i'm planning on getting a job over the summer. dunno where yet, lol. and possibly getting an apartment with amber. i have to ask my dad about it, which is even more gross than the weather. dunno what he will think about that. i am tired of commuting to UCI, especially with road work going on at University Drive and rush hour traffic on the 405 freeway in the mornings. :\
and. the road rage's getting horrible by the minute. LMAO.
the El Toro Y makes you want to kill someone.

bah, there goes spring break.
oh well, at least i went somewhere. i just came back from Las Vegas & Utah. i went to Bryce Canyon in Utah. it was really nice and i felt one with nature, srsly. XD it was kinda like the Grand Canyon, if you went there. :) i didn't stay in Vegas for long, just as a pit stop and to visit some family friends there.
IF YOU WANT A REALLY GOOD BUFFET @ VEGAS, I SUGGEST THE ONE AT THE BELLAGIO. 8D
dayum. i was in a food coma for the rest of the day. i wouldn't be surprised if gained 10 lbs. or something.

wayyy better than last qtr. last qtr was a hot mess and i didn't know what i was doing. so, i'm pretty content with these grades. also, i'm "sophomore" status now. :D
...i need to check where all my classes are tomorrow. i think i have 2. i'm not looking forward to bio sci. ewww, gross. i'm not a math or science person, but it's a GE class. D8

lol. school's been busy i guess.
next week's finals week. then spring break. omgfinally.
i'm not sure if i'm looking forward to spring qtr. not a lot of "interesting" classes are being offered and i don't know what to take. :O i just signed up for some psychology classes and some breadth (or general ed classes). and political science.
hmm. grades aren't spectacular right now. gah, i really need to like, get some motivation or something. i've just been lazy, lazy, lazy. hopefully by next quarter, i can finally get used to the fast paced life in the quarter system. the year's really zipping by for me!
i guess another reason why i don't update is because i don't really have anything interesting to say. LOL. unless you want me to ramble on about Johnny's, but. i'll save you the fangirlism. XD;;

i'm a pretty open-minded person, but holy fuck. these people are the low of the low. i was watching a program on the WBC on YouTube way back when and i wanted to chuck my new, shiny laptop across the room. i don't understand people's train of thought sometimes. absolutely disgusting.

...anyway. i'm doing well for now. i had some drama with the familia earlier this year, but it's to a point where i just don't give a damn anymore. i'll save it for another entry, i guess. i'm kinda over the whole parents-trying-to-take-control-of-my-college-life. i'm in classes i want to take and study in. i'm actually quite surprised i'm sane right about now. i just know 1 fact to be true: i need to get out of this house. srsly.
i guess i have fandom(s) to thank for keeping me grounded.

school's been pretty good too. i definitely like my International Relations class. ♥
i think i wanna major in Poli Sci or Intl Relations (if UCI has one. i think it does.)
