Darius Rucker racist tweet has caused an outcry among the Twitter-verse, with the Hootie and the Blowfish singer receiving a rather uncalled for, to say the least, reply to his recent live cover of a Bob Dylan song. The song, 'Wagon Wheel,' was originally penned by Dylan, but achieved it's highest form of recognition when Old Crow Medicine covered the track nearly a decade ago.

Darius tweeted a thank you to Dylan and OCM for letting him use the song, his tweet reading; "To Bob Dylan and my friend Ketch Secor and all the boys @crowmedicine thanks for an amazing tune. OCMS is the friiggin real deal. Much love."However the singer could hardly have imagined the response from one particularly intolerant (and musically uneducated) Twitter reveller though. "@dariusrucker Leave country to the white folk," wrote one unsatisfied and blatantly racist Twitter user, with the comment earning a deserved response from an understandably angry Rucker. Rucker's response went like this; "Wow... is this 2013 or 1913? I'll take my grand ole Opry membership and leave your racism. Wow."

Needless to say, the whole ordeal has whipped up quite a storm among the online community who are outraged at the comment and full of praise for Rucker's reasonable and restrained response. Darius currently sits at the number two spot on the Billboard Country charts with his version of 'Wagon Wheel,' with the song having peaked at the number one spot. Not that it needed any more condemnation, but looks like the Twitter troll couldn't have been any more wrong.

A man’s claims that he was molested by Michael Jackson when he was a child have been backed up by the singer’s former maid.

Blanca Francia, 57, claimed she walked in on Jackson showering with Australian Wade Robson – and is willing to say so in a court battle Wade has launched.

Blanca, whose son Jason also insists the King of Pop molested him at his Neverland ranch, said: “Michael Jackson abused Wade.

"My opinion has never wavered. We have been through a lot since then.

“They [Wade’s lawyers] would have to subpoena me to appear in the court case, but I would tell the same story. I will talk to them. I am still in shock that this has all happened.”

We're having a heat wave up here, and it's making me think about cool, light summer meals. I've never had gazpacho but suddenly it sounds so nice. Does anyone have a killer gazpacho/killer summer weather recipe?

So, at university I have an academic advisor, and then my major advisor. I'd meet with my major advisor at least once a quarter to sit down and go over my requirements. (I hardly ever meet with my academic advisor. In hindsight, I should have.) My major advisor managed to overlook informing me about the number of upper division credits required. So, as a result, I'm not graduating this year, even though I totally had the time to be taking the classes to get those credits. I'm questioning if this was my fault, but we really clearly looked at the paper of requirements, and marked down the classes that I had left. So as of now, I'm done with all of my requirements with the exception of these 10 Upper Division credits. It feels really incredibly and painfully and repulsively wrong and annoying that because of this I have to wait a whole other year to graduate. Do you know if universities set up any way of getting "excused" from certain credits? I know it sounds like a copout, but my situation is unfair, and I've been at this school for 4 years already.

Would you be offended if your SO didn't want to see your parents 1-2x a week? My boyfriend's mother is draining me with her negativity and I don't think I can handle it. I just saw her on Saturday.

I'm wondering if there are dupes in the Bare my Soul quad... mainly the two brownish shades. Those are the only two that creally caught my eye. I'm hoping there are dupes in the permanent line and I can get them when I go to TMS next month.
