Kaleigh. 17. Gainesville, Florida. "Every life-movie has its soundtrack" wrote Ariel Gore in unassigned reading. I steal lines from my favorite books and my favorite songs. I write more than I speak, I paint the world with my eyes behind the lens of my camera, and I put more trust in the well composed words sung gracefully behind subtle guitar riffs and drum beats than I trust the words of my friends or family. I fall back on music, I allow it to carry me. To guide me. I'm humble, and proud. I'm strong, and stable. I'm smart, and I apply my knowledge well. I'm in love (Mitch/15 months), and I'm not afraid to admit when I'm happy, or when I'm wrong. I don't feel the urge to look like everyone else who begs to be different. I don't know who I am, but I get closer to figuring it out with every day that's pushed behind me. Basically...I love my life. Although I may not be the coolest kid you'll ever met, I feel as though I'm worth the effort to find out. The end.
