necessary rant...
i love chicago.... but sometimes it is just too much to handle. I left my house today at 2:15 pm to go back to Champaign. I DROVE 3 HOURS and only moved 26.8 miles!!! the snow, ice, nastiness made the highway even slower than ever. To make matters worse, my windshield wipers (the most essential part of the car at this point) broke down as I was just passing the Hinsdale Oasis. I have been stuck at this fuckin oasis since 5:15 for one of my parents or bf to get me.. my dad whos coming from downtown ( even worse traffic if thats even possible), my mom who hopped the metra and realized that all the trains are also stopped, Denis who is up in Palatine (yea right, hed get here at midnight). so yea. they have free wi-fi awesome but no plugs and my laptop is guna die any minute. I bought lottery tickets that i lost, resorted to eating mcdonalds and my feet are still wet from the stupid snow soaking through my boots. TO TOP OFF THE CAKE, i have a FINAL AT 8AM tomorrow IN CHAMPAIGN. um... SORRY professors but I wont be there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!shitshitshit. in conclusion, i am pissed. i am moving to Cali. and for Christmas i would like a Hummer. yes a heavy duty car that has something called TRACTION. and 4 WHEEL DRIVE. kthanks!!!
