so, i've finally decided to put together an icon journal. i need a place to post all of these little 100x100 boxes i've been decorating lately. :) it's very simple. you friend me, i friend you. if you'd like to be added, leave a comment. however, there are a few simple rules before viewing any of these icons.

1.) Credit people ask what the big deal is and why it means so much. well, it's not that hard to begin with. as an icon-maker. (haha, funny term.) i understand the hard work that goes into icons. and when people either do not credit, or claim our work as their own, it's very frusturating - and can also be known as ::GASP!:: STEALING so, when you upload these babies, in the picture KEYWORDS please credit qtgennerz OR __iconage. good? good.

2.) Share all of my icons are for public use unless stated otherwise. so, if you see another livejournal user who happens to have the same icon as you, DEAL. my icons are for all of the livejournal-ers to share. it's a simple concept, we learned it when we were, oh i don't know, in kindergarten?

3.) Comment i ask kindly that when taking an icon, PLEASE COMMENT. or better yet, just damn COMMENT. i like to know where my icons are being used, and who's using them. i don't ask for you to post a 9050594 page long comment/novel. all icons will be numbered, so simply comment with the numbers your taking with any feedback or constructive criticism you make like.

5.) Hotlinking = DEATH not really, but you will be removed from the list if i catch you stealing any icons and not uploading them to their own server. i pay for my bandwidth thank you very much, to have it be stolen is not cool. you'll just be doing yourself damage in the end when my bandwidth is exceeded and you can't view the icons anymore. hmph. too bad for you. so upload all of these icons to YOUR OWN SERVER.

i get most of my brushes from the oh so wonderful community 100x100_brushes. other icon-maker's brushes i may have use include saava, crushedviolet, teh_indy, quebelly, crumblingwalls, dtissagirl, inexorablyhere, pekeana, oxoniensis, and shagalote

i make a lot of my own DVD screencaps using POWER DVD, but other sources for my caps include:

WHAT I POST
here i mainly post icons from my favorite movies, actors, actresses, tv shows, musicians, scenes, artists, or anything that i feel like photoshopping at the moment. :)
