Just a bit of an update for anyone who still reads.
I am alive and well and studying in Belgium for a year. You can see my goings on at  belgium07 but it's going to be a straight "blog;" nothing horribly interesting I think. I still HATE the look of context punctuation inside quotation marks but I shall have to endure.
I've relocated all my creative output to strictly material means; that is, not the internet, but maybe someday I'll start posting scans again when the scanner is set up here if I ever make anything maybe worth seeing.
As for what I'm doing AFTER this year abroad, DON'T ASK!! PLZ.

I finished Atlas Shrugged and recommend it to every person on this planet. Now I just have to read Blindness by Jose Saramago, write three essays, and pass them in on August 20th. Then between the 20th and the 29th I write three stupid Da Vinci Code essays for Joe B. I'm unconcerned.
One week from now I will be waking up [for the first time since 2005] at fiddle camp. I leave this Thursday!

If there's anyone you can count on to put out consistently chill records, it's M. Ward. "Post-War" is absolutely lovely so far.
I also downloaded "Plans" [by DCFC of course] even though I used to have it and deleted it because I hated it. I just really wanted "I will follow you into the Dark". I'm a sucker for strummy acoustic guitar, even though I can't stand B-Gibbs' voice and lyrics and everything.

Music charts are my favorite thing ever. I strongly encourage everyone to comment with their versions of these statistics [your own top three bands etc].

I like being a music nerd. I find iTunes really annoying in that there is very little to do with your statistics. I love Last.fm but it's not accurate as I listen to music on the computer very sporadically.
