And I'm too lazy to walk over to my room and get the book.
Hahahaha, yeah.

This is Saturday, February 9, 2008!
A day book-ended by fly-faces and mafia nights.
This isn't familiar to those of you who have seen my documented days...
Another clock besides the blue glowing one? What is this?!
I was actually in the bathroom with Elmo playing with the green light at the stroke of midnight.
It's his phone.

Go green!

Anywho.
Gabby's casa!
A bunch of friends gathered at Gabby's house, we had been playing mafia (yes!) and hearts all night.
Around 12:30 we all decided that we wanted something cold, chilly and delicious!
But where to go!?
We stop at our friendly neighborhood Mickey D's.
Hahaha, we actually went to their website to see if they were open 24/7. They were.
And apparently they don't serve icecream after midnight. Poo.
What else would old drunk people and hobos want at midnight? Gosh!
They need a new marketing plan.
Kyle got a cinnamon bun thing. It smelled artificial.
Next? El Pollo Loco.
I'm not even sure what happened there.
So we went across the street to the 7/11.
Slurpees are always fun.
It had a weird texture.
I maintain it was poison. So I tossed it.
It was 99 cents of my life...GONE!
Tragedy.
Around 1:00 all the guys left to do guy things, I suppose.
The rest of us were very very sleepy.
Good night, Gabby!
I've got my goods all together.
That's a sick retainer.
Volney gathers her things for bed.
And we fell asleep.
I was very comfortable.
It was around 2:30.
I wake up to this face.
It's Millie, Gabby's pup.
Good morning, world!
I didn't want to move.
But I had to...I had to be home by 9:00.
I'm cute in the morning...
And still comfortable.
I take a trip to the bathroom and witness might be the most disgusting eye baggage of my life.
Everything is better in green.
She's a fruitfly!

The fruitfly gets up to feed!

We leave just in time to be back to my house by 9:00.

Looks like it'll be a beautiful day!

It really was a pleasant morning...

This is the sign that taunts me every time I drive back from Gabby's house.
Why do I have to listen to a sign!
(A few times I haven't...)
It was amazing.

We pull in right as my mom does.
Just in time!
She immediately lectures me about things I need to get done by Monday.

We settle in a bit, adn then head to my disaster room.

I really had to clean it up.
Since I've been still sleeping on the couch, I've been using my room as a dumping ground. Sad.

Gabby mostly stood around and judged me. Hahahaha.

Yay! My cleaned room!

Gabby and Yoko bonded.

So I figured I should stop looking like a slob.

So I actually tried to tame that hair.

But look! I managed to do it!

Damn you, Gabby. She looked cute, so she made me make an effort.

So Gabby and I decided to grab breakfast slash lunch.
So why not go to Whole Foods?

We love these elevators.

There is this gremlin-like voice that announces the level you're on. Hehe, we love it.

Whole foods is completely marvelous.

Gabby and I got some gelato! Two scoops for $2.50, what a deal!
We tried MANGO and ROSE.
Rose was surprisingly delicious. It tasted like...creamy strawberry? I'm not sure, so good though.

Gabby loves Wholefoods. So do I.
Gabby loves gelato. So do I.
Gabby loves those gelato spoons. So do I...I really do, more than I should.

We then went over to Prepared Fare, our favorite section.

Aren't these mini-tamales so incredibly cute?!

We then drove over to Pavillions.

We were here to pick up a few things to complete our breakfast/lunch run.

We were looking for red velvet cake to make for our shindig tonight.
But they didn't have a ready-make version.

We bought very healthy snacks.
A huge bagette and some strawberry cake mix.

Hellz yeah.

Sooooo, we're back at Gabby's.

Gabby has the freakiest flag of my life.

Yes!

We enjoyed our tuna, bread, tofu and rice.
Carbs carbs carbs. Delicious.

Yummy.

After lunch we played guitar hero.
And loved it.

And just like that, we were out again.

I fit into the teensiest space.

It was a close call.

We arrived back at the middle school...weird.

I had to coach at my YMCA game.
We're in white, hahaha, the girls are too cute.
We won the game!

So we got back to Gabby's...

We played our Co-op band.
Man, we're so good.
We beat the game!

We decided to bust out the cake mix and start making our dessert.

Sorry for so many pictures of myself.
I was feeling cute.

So I decided to get back to reality...

I made the Strawberry cake into a Strawberry!

I made one strawberry, and I cut up the rest and put them on a serving platter with dipping frosting!

Soon it was music time.
Hahaha, Rachel played Gabby's guitar, and Gabby played me some new tunes.

Yay for music notes.
I can't read them.
I'm lame.

After randomly searching youtube, the three of us decided that Michelle Branch and Vanessa Carlton are cousins.

Andrea showed up, and that was Gabby and my cue to leave.

The night was so beautiful!

Gabby and I went to the 5th Grade play, Seussical Jr.
We went to root on our OSS girls!
It was adorable.

When we got back to Gabby's, the rest ofthe gang was already playing guitar hero.
We wanted to have another game night/mafia night.
Exciting!

Deep conversations!
Hahaha.

At this point, Gabby and I told them of our almost kidnapping.
It was seriously terrifying.
Before Seussicle, I parked the car a few blocks from school because the parking lots were packed.
Gabby and I had to walk a while, and as we got to the intersection of Rollin and Diamond a tan car rolled up to the stop sign.
We kept walking, but he rolled down the window and it was a creepy, 40-something man. He yelled out "Hey ladies!"
So we crossed the street, he then turned the corner and proceeded to shout out "Hey girls! Hey ladies!" So we started running towards the high school, he sped up and followed us and pulled into the school driveway. I screamed and we kept running to the auditorium.
It was so scary.
Ahhh.

It was almost midnight, so I took a picture of my steps.
In those 9 minutes, I got 2 thousand more steps.
It's because I took Gabby's rollerblades outside, hahahaha, it was fun.

Soon the guys left and the girls were left to dress me up like a fly.
A day book-ended by fly-faces and mafia nights.
Much love friends.
