The idea of aDayInMyLife is to share your life with other people, to learn how they spend their days, to learn a little about alternative lifestyles.
To make it more fun, I have come up with a few rules, just to challenge those that need the challenge ;)
The Rules:
a day in my life - standard rules
These are obviously just for starters, to give a framework, as it were.
1: Each participant has a camera.
It is better that they are either polaroid or digital cameras that do not require developing.
That way, the picture can be of whatever you please (no embarassing developing moments).
2: Each participant takes at least one photo per hour during his/her 'normal' day.
You can take as many pictures as you like, but no more than 2 hours can pass between photos.
3: A picture must be taken within 15 minutes of waking up and a picture must be taken in bed at night.
That way the day is book-ended, plus we get to see you with bed-head =)
4: The only time you can pass on a photo is if you are physically unable to take the photo or be in the photo.
You are allowed to give the camera to someone else to take the photo, as long as you are in the photo.
You can take the photo of the place you are at, you do not need to be in it. No 'being in a meeting' is not an excuse, find a way to take the pic.
5: Pictures can be obscure and out of focus (we are going for natural here), especially if self portraits.
6: no pictures can be thrown away. If the picture is blurred, out of focus or badly composed (e.g. taken under the table at a board meeting), tough, it still goes in the post.
