I'm lauren rae.
I'm a freshman at Memphis College of Art and I'll hopefully be majoring in illustration. I work as a note-taker for the school, so I basically get paid to go to class. I occupy my spare time reading literature & poetry, taking pictures, drawing strangers in my sketchbook, learning to cook, watching obscure movies or Law & Order, sleeping, browsing thrift stores and antique malls, creating something for class, or spending time with my closest friends. I can often be found sitting indian-style on a clean patch of floor in my room, with an open sketchbook laid out in front of me, weilding scissors and a cement brush, surrounded by a sea of photos, articles, words, reciepts, poems, and scraps of national geographic. I collect things you probably throw away, or already threw away. I love Memphis, but I can't live with this inconstant weather my entire life. I have a small family and few friends, but I love them. I'm pretty laid back and very openminded, and I like doing freelance art jobs. E-mail me.
