I can't believe people still post on here? Nice to see.
I thought everyone does facebook now. I still haven't bothered with registering.

Things going good. Sold my house, all moved in with my Dave and engaged!!!
Josh living full time at school... empty nester now and loving it!!! I Will be out to Mikado's end of September for some dancing. Woo hoo!!

Hi.. haven't posted in a while. Goth life gone all too hell. Haven't done anything in that spectre for long awhile. Too busy workin and just hanging out at home. So my resort to doing the "cool" thing is just running around the house in cute kinky little numbers for that someone special. Been up north a couple of times... lots of fun that way... even tried kayaking, just love it... hope to go up one more time before the summer is out. Getting the strong urge to get out and do some dancin though... we'll see. Funny how time changes things... The days of hanging out with my family almost every weekend at Sanctuary is soooo long gone. I certainly couldn't "gracefully" get away with those slinky little numbers any more??? For that matter... don't even wanna try. I will just stick to being current with tunes. Isn't that what it is all about?

Well, it has only been 2 years and 6 months of almost hell. Work has finally ... and I mean finally hired themselves another Media Buyer!!! My counterpart will be taking up her responsibilities in the new office in Atlanta. Bob came in and told me the news today... he asked me how I felt about it.... well I am certainly relieved. Talk about taking the pressure off. No more American Radio Buys. I was already getting worried about what the hell was gonna go on in September. I am already looking at a full schedule with the Canadian clients, never mind the American cities. So... she will be coming up here for training. As opposed to myself... it should be interesting to see how much experience this person really has? My horoscope said it would be an interesting day in the work world.

Question is.... what do they have in store for me now??? I hope there is no catch.

Davey and I are planning another trip to Vegas. Can't believe it??? Twice in one year. Not so much gambling this time... while he's playin his Texas Hold'em... I'll be out by the pool!!! 130 degrees they say?? He'll tip the pool boy extra to take care of me.

Can't wait to hit the other side of the strip... at least this time we will know where we are going and what to avoid. Plus... I'll get to go shopping ... there's tons of cool skull t-shirts down there... and dirt, dirt cheap!!!

Great weekend. Did more of my artsy fartsy stuff around the yard, including farming my moss. I guess the baby shower yesterday wasn't all that bad. The tree I purchased for the event was a total hit... only cost me 20 bucks... even made my cash back... brought home 2 bottles of wine.

I even bonded with my new neighbour... Mel !!! It's been a long time since I sat and enjoyed a beverage in my dearly departed Jost's driveway. Both me a Dave said the same thing as clinked glasses welcoming Mel to the hood. It really means alot to have a great neighbours. The whole feeling around that house is a buzz of positive energy, she just "digs" gardening. Jost would have really liked her... she's a single mom, has the cutest puppy, and is a rye drinker just like him. She's got the biggest and nicest garage on the block! Good for her. It's nice to see a woman doing well and independant for herself!!! I can't wait to hear her crank and wind up that Harley of hers, just to drive the old ladies nuts!!!

Yes!!! Just received the rights to my pool pal's beautiful in-ground pool at the end of June while she is away. Woohooo. Skinny dippin!!! I love her!!!

Haven't been out lately. Was quite the loner this weekend and loved it. The whole yard is done. The hard stuff anyway... cleaned the dirty old stinky pond, and thoroughly cleaned the fire pit and brought in about two yards of compost... holy shit my back was killing me on Sunday. But now I get to sit back and enjoy the fun stuff... if it ever warms up!!! Planting my perennials and watching them grow. Shit... still gotta paint the garage though. Still more I wanna do to. Talk about curb appeal.

Might be off to Vegas again soon too. The players club must have really loved Dave, giving him 3 nights accommodation and spending cash and tickets to a show !!! Guess all we gotta really come up with is our flights and more spending money. We'll see. Wooo hooo Viva Las Vegas! Even if we don't go... it'll be worth looking into. Talk about totally unexpected?

Well, it seems my goth life has gone all to hell . A lady of leisure I'd say.... as of late I find myself sitting back and enjoying the simple things in life. Watching the bunnies, learning how to make banana bread from a man? ... and last night... of all things "worming". That simple rain we had... we were out last night in the backyard with a flashlight checking out all the worms... what a riot. This weekend I have made it my mission to really get a grip on my yard. Gotta put out some grass seed, pull the weeds, clean the pond. Make up my mind if I am gonna keep the patio table I bought for my B-Day. Fuck... I still gotta get a shit load of soil too. Now that's a big job to tackle... but really really needs to be done. Getting ready for that backyard BBQ season! This year, I'll have 2 yards to enjoy not to mention a future... the proverbial wheels are turning.

Wow... did really well for my B-Day. Can't wait to go and check out the lawn furniture at Crappy Tire and blow my gift certificate. Then... I can't wait to hit one of the garden centres in town to blow that gift certificate too!!!! I have so many possibilities? mmmm, my flower bouquet smells so good too. I love my sweetie!

Well, it's Monday ... work day for me. Yuck... had a good weekend though. Best part was cleaning the yard. Made a huge dent and have my burn piles ready. Think I got a little bit of sun too. Kinda nice too.. didn't do anything special for Easter... loved it. I am sure I will hear about it too... dear old dad. Oh well, it's my sister's turn to do the entertaining now that she is back in Ontario. I was the one that was there for my parents when my sisters moved away.

Well, life has been considerably boring. No funds basically. Hope the weekend is nice, I have alot of work to do around the yard!!! Seen some plants coming up. Oh joy, oh bliss. Can't wait to get down and dirty... I miss my shovel! The most fun I have had all week was a fire over at my man's. Twas good, we were burning cedar. mmmm smelled sooo good. I really needed that... it cleared my head. Got alot on my plate this year... my son is going to college. Scarey boo!!!! On that note... I have stopped feeding him cheese... LOL!!!

Sad day today. I found out my former boss passed. If it wasn't for this woman, I would not be where I am today. She gave me the opportunity of a lifetime and I will always appreciate that. Some of my fondest memories of her were when she talked and taught me of the "old ways". I learned what it means to be aboriginal and be proud of it!!! My mother's generation lost all that... thanks to the residential schools/government/church trying to erase all of it.

Well, The Committments was ok... 'kinda' cheesy... but what the hell. We actually had more fun tripping around the casino. I was totally shocked when I couldn't order a drink at 3am??? I guess I am spoiled, there really is nothing like Vegas? Was fun though. I got the lights going off and the bell ringing when I won 5o bucks. Bowling was fun last night... I actually did pretty good. It's almost done for another year. Happy first day of spring.

Full moon March 14, 11:35pm.... now I know why I have been feeling a little under the weather. Not to mention just a little nasty. Gotta do damage control... seems my sister has no etiquette when it comes to parent and child... my child. They thought it was a great idea to invite my son (a minor)to Florida... yes, I agree... wow... but the only problem is ... "They didn't ask me first"... and I had to directly point that out. Now I am the bitch. At this point, he's not going because his birth certificate is nowhere to be found. I just don't get people sometimes... did she really think I would sign him over to her as to be his guardian in another country... just like that???? WTF... I guess, after all these years... she still doesn't know me. What a shame???

OMG... back from Vive Vegas!!! Definately going back again next year. We had way too much fun. All I can say is everyone should do it, at least once. WOW. We were the 24 hour party people. Didn't get much sleep at all. Shucks... I could go for another bloody mary right now.

Well, in 24 hours we will be on our way!!! Vegas. Can't wait. I have all my addresses for thrift shops, gothing, free events and a cool place where you can choose any machine gun you want and shoot it off!!! I hope they have "tommy guns". Definately will have to get a picture of that! ...only in Vegas. Just have to do all my finishing touches here at work... then I am in party mode. Go home, pack, do my banking and clean up the house... both houses I might add. Yeh. This is gonna be fun... really really fun!!

Had a strange week last week. 3 things happened. I was doing my best to mind my own business... and 1)have a meeting this evening, job interview... I was approached AND out of the blue ??? Should be interesting 2) $$$$ Got a raise 3) "apparently" someone is being hired to assist my duties at work (will only believe it when it happens). So wow. Had a great weekend. Was happy to get out and visit at Red Square... did my best to keep warm... drinking good old Glenfidditch. YUM!!! And lastly, I have one more week till I am in sunny Las Vegas. Gonna be busy. Life is wonderful.

Was a great weekend. Loved the snow!!! Furnace died... but we made the best of it!!! Friday, curled up in front of the TV with a propane heater just a blasting. We enjoyed a meal cooked on a "hot stone"... was awesome. Saturday hibernated indoors and watched a couple of movies, in the evening we ventured down the hood to play a few hands of eucre and seriously kicked butt. Sunday... did some errands and off to bowling. There was plenty of naps to be had!!!! Only 2 more weeks till Vegas!!! Can't wait to throw on some sandals!!!

Wow, spent the weekend up in Angus, just outside of Barrie. So, I was there for the snowstorm and power outage. It was great!!!! So pretty... we went for a walk in the storm on Saturday night. I want to so badly live up there. Small towns, lots of trees where the people are just so nice. Got to visit my sister and my neices. Had to dig my way out of the driveway by hand... excellent snow for making a snowman too. Oh well, 3 weeks till Vegas.

OMG.... what a gorgeous day today... this February 2nd. Just came back from lunch with one of my co-workers. Sweetie bought me lunch... holy pig out... Japanese style (sorry Mitch... next week for sure). So now I'm plenty full. Tonight... off for a quick visit at the hospital to brighten someone's day... then off to pick up "the ninnie" and "bowl off" due to a weekend spent up in Angus. Other than that... still smiling.

Stayed in for most of the weekend. Friday enjoyed a couple of drinks, Saturday .. a couple more drinks. During that time I worked on my coffin. Got things better arranged .. all neat and tidy now. Then off to my man's with a car load of more schtuff... freebies for his daugher, hope she likes anyway. Then under my homesteader's direction and care on Sunday... we got busy in the kitchen and whipped up and jarred a bunch of salsa !!!! mmmm mmm good!! Then off to visit his dad... then off to bowling. woo hoo... 4 weeks till vegas!!

Well, all the shit seems to be once again hitting the fan at work here.... but me, happier than a pig in shit!!!! It is so busy... but not letting anyone or anything get to me. All in all... sure my job is important... but it's not the most important thing. The boss is gonna totally freak when he finds out I am gone for a week???? It is up to the controller to drop that bomb!!! Yeah, me... might do them some good to see what it is like when my position is vacant. Been on line... and hope to do some gothing in Vegas... looks like they have some venues happening. As of Monday... 4 weeks to go... Lord willing.
