Wonderful weekend in London to catch a They Might Be Giants gig. The below was not the best song they played all night, but it was great fun live and is the one that has been stuck in my head all of today.

The results shown in the 'By OS' tab made me smile.

Mameshibas: “Talking beans with puppy-dog faces” who assault unsuspecting folk with strange trivia about the world we live in.

:D I love Japan.

One of the houses on my street has a cardboard cut-out of a stormtrooper in the window. I really wish I was in the house opposite so I could set up one of Han Solo.

Highlight of the past few weeks was getting to see Tom Soppard's 'Arcadia' on stage. It manages to compete with 'Rosencranz and Guildernstern are Dead' for my favourite play, and this performance did not disappoint. Made me really happy to see such a smart, geeky, interesting piece of writing be done justice.

So. The journal has had a big overhaul. I've spent the last two days making all old entries private. I want a fresh start, and although there's nothing really incriminating in my old entries, they're from a different (not to mention younger!) time in my life, and don't really match up with 'fresh start'. I could just get a new journal, but I like this one, I like the name, and I don't really see how I would achieve much more by starting in a new place.

I've gone on a bit of a friending spree, so if that's why you're here, hi. Journals I've added are predominantly those of people I've been following for a little while whenever I remember to check them. Thought I might as well get round to actually adding them to list of things I read regularly. Chances are you're a creative person of some sort and I admire your work :)

I still think this journal will be geared more toward following content than producing it, but I may make the occasional post every now and then.

And that's all I have to say for now.
