Why won't anybody tell me what's in that bloody book? I don't understand. I know it's something very important involving a dark wizard who caused loads of trouble and Sirius and I have got something to do with it. If I don't find out sooner or later I might as well head straight to the headmaster and ask him about it myself.

A couple days ago I attended a study group Hermione set up. Sirius tried talked to Ron's sister which put Remus in a fowl mood for some reason. Ron was also in a fowl mood because the Durmstrang bloke at there was getting friendly with his girlfriend. Harry wasn't the same as the last time I had spoken to him, and much more distant today. Peter was Peter. Lily refused to speak to me once again. I forgot what I've done this time. Perphaps a box of Chocolate Frogs could ease her rage.

Anyways, think it's about time I headed down to breakfeast.

The Marauders had another little midnight party the other night. Second one since we've been here, counting the one we had on our first night awake. We visited the Shrieking Shack, the kitchens, and the usual stops. House elves have been trying to kill us with overdoses of porridge ever seen the exploding soufflés at the soiree from hell, so I grabbed myself a bit of real food to eat. Padfoot's doing better, I see. Still a bit caught up in this future thing.

The way I see it, as long as we're here, we might as well make ourselves at home while the Ministry (do they even know we're here?) and everybody else run around trying to send us back to the past. It is a little strange to know what's going to happen twenty years or so into the future.

The new students from Bulgaria and France are crawling all about the castle. Seven former Beauxbaton blokes and three former Durmstrang blokes, I think, have joined us in the fifth year boys’ dormitory. Hufflepuffs say the foreign students aren't to be trusted. Good old Hufflepuff. Always ready to jump at anybody who’s even just a tad out of the ordinary.

Blimey, this inter-house unity is getting seriously out of hand. Last night was the "soiree" everybody was raving about. Damn, can Snivellus dance. I danced with several girls, including Narcissa Black. Although she was very beautiful in her robes, and I do love attention from all my fans, it was a bit... overwhelming. The exploding soufflés started going off and Professor Dumbledore locked us into our dormitories. Everybody was a bit panicked, and there were several rumors floating around explaining all the commotion. All rubbish of course, but Peter was quite alarmed. He had heard that the Slythreins were planning to overthrow Dumbledore and curse us all from a Hufflepuff fourth year.

Not much has happened lately, although there was a bit of panic among several sixth year girls the other day when one the divination professor, who I am unfamiliar with, seems to have passed out. Also, I'm a Gryffindor chaser- not that it would surprise anybody with my unusually superior talent. Yesterday's Transfiguration class was ineresting- one of the Hufflepuff girls managed to transfigure her possum into a towel rack instead of a spoon. It was very amusing.

Finally figuring out how to get future Muggle music onto my computer. It's very interesting.

I’ve had a long busy today. I woke up very early, around five, to go out and practice catching the Quaffle for Quidditch since I've been getting a little rusty without practice. Madam Hooch seemed reluctant (probably remembers me from when I went to school in my time. Don't suppose I'm easily forgotten.), but after much arguing she allowed me to borrow one of her brooms, since my Blazing Blizzard 208 was left behind in the past.

I'd thought everyone in the castle was still asleep, so you could only imagine my surprise to find my future son had beat me to the fields and was sitting there in his Quidditch robes, dashing after the Snitch. We played a bit of competitive little game of chase-the-snitch which was violently ended by the Giant Squid, who apparently still is a resident in the Hogwarts Lake, who ate our snitch. Pity our game was cut short before a victor could be determined.

Harry really does look very much like me, and everyone’s right about him having Lily’s eyes, though I wondered about that peculiar scar on his forehead. He’s a very good guy. I suppose he must take on after me and my Potter charm. After our quick match, I went back down to the castle and ate breakfast the Marauders and Harry and his friends. We didn't say much to each other. Went back out and practiced a bit more with Ginny (Lily watched. She was impressed. I could tell.) then headed down to see what Hogesmeade is like in the future. Brilliant shop over there called “Zonko’s”, where we bought loads of stuff, and we got our usual Butterbeers. We tried to go up to the Shrieking Shack to see how it’s been, but a elderly witch stopped us and told us it’s been haunted for years. Imagine how that possibly could've happend, Moony.

Anyways, I'm off to talk to the Marauders about that thing.

Sirius's cousin, Narcissa Black, met her son yesterday. Nasty little fellow with blond hair like straw and two very ugly gigantic bodyguards. He ran around the corridor yelling that he was going to owl his mother about this "nonsense" and refused to believe Narcissa was his mother. She was furious. I think if Professor McGonagall hadn't stepped into the hallwayss right then, Narcissa would've hexed the bloke.

I've yet to meet mine. Er, my son, I mean. His name is "Harry Potter" from what I hear, and he's supposed to look just like me with Lily's eyes. Earlier today I heard a girl calling and running after him the corridors, but I turned and hurried to Transfiguration before I could see his face. I don't know what I'm supposed to think of this whole having-a-son-thing so I've mostly kept relatively quiet about it. For Christ's sake, I'm only fifteen and I love(d) my life the way it is now(/then). I've never sat down and stopped to think of the future, and now I regret it because here I am plopped down in the middle of it with a son. A son who knows what I'm going to become one day. I'm not making any sense. I don't need this, I'm going out for a walk.

Last night the students arrived at Hogwarts. The Marauders, Lily and I didn't attend the feast by Dumbledore's request, and instead took our meal in the Gryffindor common room. Sirius has been in a nasty moody all day since he missed the feast. Remus has got his nose buried in some book, as usual. Pettigrew isn't taking this time travel thing very well at all. Lily, I think, is speaking to me again. Classes are supposed to begin soon. I hear Snivellus teaches potions here at Hogwarts. Somehow, I don't really think I'll be doing too good at potions this year.

Somebody mentioned something to me earlier about one boy who wants to meet me very much in particular.

I think I'll go out and find something to do.

A few days ago the Marauders and I snuck out of the hospital wing and went exploring around the Hogwarts-from-the-future under my invisibility coat. Thank god Moony had the sense to keep our map with him in his cloak pocket. Some of our old secret passageways were blocked, but several were left clear. We were about to sneak over to Hogesmeade and look at sweets from the future, but we heard one of the professors about to check up on us so we hurried back to our beds.

Now most of us have been released from the hospital wing, but it wasn't much to look forward to. I don't think Lily Evans is speaking to me since I made a bit of fool of myself on our first day here, and there's nobody but Snape around to pick on. In fact, the whole bloody castle is empty except for house elves running about working on last minute fix-ups before the Hogwarts students arrive. That's something I'll be looking forward to.

Dumbledore gave me this thing called a "computer" a while ago, but this is my first attempt to really use it. It's some sort of futuristic Muggle device that does all sorts of odd things. I can't understand it all, but Dumbledore says we're supposed to use it for some sort of "house unity" project.

Last week I had a dream that I was being chased by Death Eaters attacking me with stunning spells. When I woke up I aching all over, and I was suddenly at the Hogwarts hospital wing with three other Marauders, Lily Evans, Snape, a Ravenclaw girl I'm not familiar with, Sirius's stuck up cousin and one of her little friends. Hogwarts looked quite different than I remembered it had been before school ended. Nothing made much sense and the few teachers here fussed around trying to keep things quiet from us for a while, but eventually Dumbledore came clean and told us the truth. We're supposed to be in the 1990s. Nasty shock to the eight of us.
